Police have been searching for a 36-year-old Groton man who allegedly stabbed an acquaintance on Tinkham Road earlier this week, the Journal-Opinion reports.

According to Vermont State Police, Brandon Lackie stabbed John Faucette multiple times in the back before stealing the victim’s truck on Monday night.

Faucette was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition. The truck was later recovered in Ryegate, but Lackie (seen below) remains at large.

Lackie was wearing a distinctive jacket at the time of stabbing.

Lackie, who also has a long record of motor vehicle offenses and other offenses, was taken into police custody last month after disrobing and throwing himself on top of passing motor vehicles on a Vermont-New Hampshire bridge, the Caledonian-Record reported.

New Hampshire police say Lackie was wearing nothing but his socks when he threw himself on top of cars and trucks on the bridge over the Connecticut River connecting Barnet, VT and Monroe, NH Thursday morning, October 3. He reportedly had left his vehicle and clothing on the Vermont side.

Vermont state troopers at the scene say Lackie apparently was having a psychotic incident. He was taken away by ambulance, the Record reports.

This wasn’t VSP’s first encounter with Lackie. Troopers arrested him on Sept. 7 after he allegedly committed multiple violations including being a fugitive from justice.

  1. Arrested for being a fugitive Sept. 7. Turned loose. Arrested for a naked display Oct. 3. Turned loose. Now the cops are searching for him for stabbing a person in the back Nov. 21. What are going to be the charges next time he’s loose? Murdering some innocent ? Only in Vermont, ( and maybe some other states with Soros corrupted liberal DA’s.)
