This week, Vermont Daily Chronicle and the growing Burlington Daily News reached new heights, thanks in large part to the efforts of new Social Media Director Paul Bean, who is publishing news videos and sharing news and commentary at an unprecedented level.

We hope you’re happy with the results so far, and can see the potential for expanding our one-of-a-kind news and commentary coverage in Vermont. I can assure you’re we’re just getting started.

It surprises many readers – especially our many new readers – that VDC’s business model (we are a for-profit operation) relies almost exclusively on their voluntary generosity. We don’t charge a subscription fee. Rather we invite happy readers to make a monthly or annual Sustaining Subscriber contribution.
