Police dog training

The Burlington Police Department had an announcement on their Facebook on Thursday that their K9 Max along with Corporal Tyler Kahlig passed their Narcotics Detection and Tracking schools.

The release states, “Corporal Kahlig has put in a tremendous amount of work with K9 Max over the spring and summer – they are shaping up to continue the legacy of Burlington Police K9 teams. Currently, they are in Patrol School working on Building Searches, Officer Protection, Evidence Detection, and Area searches.”

According to an article from PoliceMag.com, K9 units play an essential role in policing. It states, “A police K-9 unit is instrumental in myriad missions, including drug enforcement, search and rescue, fugitive apprehension, and of course, public relations. So when a K-9 is injured or killed, they are treated with nearly as much reverence and respect as when a police officer suffers a similar fate.”

  1. A few days ago I commented about having vigilantes roaming the streets in known areas that has been mentioned in a VDC article by Don Keelan as I recall, and confront the criminal element that’s saturated throughout Vermont. The police can’t be in all places at once. Therefore just received this article, very interesting and I’ll post some comments. Even the Hell’s Angles are getting sick of it. Note, the Angles was started by Veterans as a commenter stated.

It’s pretty sad that we all have and pay for a “government” but end up having to rely on a bunch of bikers who aren’t getting paid a dime to save our republic.

No, it’s better that we have citizens who care about our county taking care of it. Self reliance is the best achievement we can have for a secure community. Hells Angel’s started as ex-mil Vets. They never stopped being proud Americans, even though they live outside many laws.

Multiple Videos Emerging Of Hells Angels Headed To Colorado On Motorcycles To Deal With Venezuela Migrants “I have seen multiple videos in the last 10 minutes that are showing the Hells Angels heading to Colorado, to Aurora.” “This is gonna be interesting. —I’ve seen footage of it” I’ve included one video but there are serves being posted all over the internet right now

Articles about criminal activity will become more numerous.

    • Perhaps the thing that raised concern was your use of the word “vigilante”, as it has a connotation of describing activity outside the law. “The law” in our country has recently been used as a weapon against a political threat, so it depends on whose law one is referring to. “Citizen justice” may very well be justified in the complete absence of a legitimate justice system, which is pretty much what we have in progressive-run jurisdictions like Burlington VT and Aurora CO.

    • Mr. Lachapelle, came across a comment, pasted, that may suit your description better. “vigilante” is a generic word describing a basic endeavor, to encompass many events. Perhaps this posting may put light on the word, many words can describe the thought of “vigilante”, The point being get rid of vermin in what ever means possible and make the state livable. Many people use generic terms, but the point is made. This was on the VDC article

A few years ago there was a citizen’s posse of gun-carrying patriots who patrolled the border. Start it up again and count me in. Screw the leftist crybabies.

What is your terminology for this? Seems I have company.
