Milk Cows! Not taxpayers! – Cast your vote today for the Nov 5 election

I am a delivery driver and a service technician for a home heating company. The only candidates on the ballot that will not destroy the home heat industry, which my coworkers and I rely upon to support our families in Vermont, are Republicans. The only candidates on the ballot that will not increase our home heating fuel taxes (by an additional $3.20 per gallon) are Republicans. The only candidates on the ballot that will not raise education property taxes by double digit percentages next year are Republicans. The only candidates on the ballot that will place student needs over that of administrators and Montpelier bureaucrats are Republicans.

Let’s be frank. Which candidates will genuinely find solutions to address the opioid epidemic, the tragedy of homelessness in Vermont, the spiraling crime rate, and the unaffordable cost of living? Which candidates will preserve Vermont’s natural environment, instead of shilling for the corporate lobbyists in the alternative energy industry.  It will definitely not be the Democrats and Progressives who have held power in the state for decades. The rampant inequality of living standards serves their interests. So, why would they ever change the current state of affairs?

Like my fellow working Vermonters, I want to be able to live in my beloved state. This is why I will be voting for every Vermont Republican on the ballot. Vermont Republicans will help Governor Phil Scott slam the brakes on the supermajority’s extremist agenda.

Your vote COUNTS. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, and don’t wait until it’s too late. Cast your vote today for the November 5 Election

  1. I will cast my vote on election day so i can walk by those sorryass idiots that are trying to get themselves a job. The lock down and kill shot i did not forget and will remind them.

  2. If you like the ” debt ” burdened condition the state is in, then keep voting for the progressives that’s Vermont’s ” Stupid Majority ” and there increased tax solutions that you’ll be funding as soon as they are reelected…………… they don’t care !!

If you care about your lively hood, then vote these inept clowns out, they are like a cancer, they will kill you and our state, wake up, just look at your current tax bill and it’s won’t get any better……………….. you work and they’ll spend.

  3. We voted our straight Republican ballots and hand carried them to the town clerk the day after they were received by us at least 3 weeks ago!

  4. This was (and is) a planned scheme in the Dem/ prog. playbook. Make living in Vermont too expensive for average working class citizens.. remove us with their “economic cleansing” plan and replace us with wealthy urban liberals who will overwhelmingly support them and their policies..Seems like an effective plan to me..

    • Bingo ! It may suck that it has come down to this but, just don’t let it happen. Make THEM uncomfortable living here . If you provide a service (s) for THEM, make THEM pay ! Let THEM know that what THEY are attempting to bring about here is in no way acceptable, but most importantly, get out and vote ! That is what THEY fear the most, an oppositional non compliant citizenry . Don’t be sheep !

  5. I’m voting straight republican for the first time in my life. Used to be mixed. If there is no republican choice, just a demo, I’m leaving it blank.

    • If there is no Republican choice, write someone in . Maybe even vote for yourself .

  6. Does any D, P or I know the difference between a cow and a bull? They don’t know much of anything else. The bull might enjoy.

  7. Stu Lindberg, you are right on….100%! Vote out these out of state transplants that moved to Vermont under the premise of ‘leading us hicks’ into the 21st century, as so stated, by one recent gubernatorial candidate for governor. She also said Vermonter’s need to get over their love affair with guns. Thank god she didn’t make it into the Governors chair.

If you look at the legislative House and Senate member listing, you will see that at least 50% and probably more like 70% of the members of the legislature migrated here to become “Vermonters” as noted in their bio’s. The problem is they brought their left wing over the top activism and ideology with them and now want to force it on traditional Vermonters and our wonderful heritage.

Look at those that complained about California’s high housing costs, taxes, fuel, etc. and moved to Texas to get away from it. Then after arriving in Texas a huge number of them went right back to pushing the “California ideology” that they left with a bad taste in their mouths and are now pushing it in their new state (Texas). Texans hate it!

We have to start now by voting out all the obtuse Dems and their buddies who call themselves Progressives and who laugh at push back over the never ending rate hikes, tax increases, environmental laws and restrictions just to mention a few. We must kill the “super majority” and we have only a few days left to do it.

  8. Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. There are some Independent candidates who should not be overlooked, especially when there aren’t enough Republicans on the ballot to fill the open offices. One, for example, is in the Windham-3 district. Casey Cota (I) should be supported, if for no other reason than to replace Leslie Goldman (prog/dem). I’m sure there are other examples of suitable Independent candidates in other districts as well.

    • Jay Very good point about S/P/D Goldman. She has nothing else tpo do than get in people’s faces and destroy their lives. She defines worthlessness.

    • I’ve had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Cota several times. Also listen to him present. And his cousin Matt Cota. If I lived in his district, I would definitely vote for him if there weren’t enough Republicans on the ballot.
