Mohsen Mahdawi, the Palestinian activist and Windsor County resident subject to deportation, claimed he was ‘kidnapped” by the Trump administration on April 14, when ICE detained him for suspected immigration violations. Mahdawi was speaking at a press conference Thursday, May 8 at the Vermont State House.

The Columbia University student leader of some anti-Israel, pro-Palestine student groups was detained April 14 in Colchester after Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the green card holder’s continued presence in the U.S.A. presents a strategic risk to the United States and the Israeli-Palestine peace process.
In part one, Mahdawi praised Vermont as a place of light and freedom and support after he was ‘kidnapped” by the Trump administration, he told an enthusiastic crowd Thursday at the Vermont State House. He also spoke of prayers offered by a fellow ICE detainee, likely one of the farm workers detained from a Berkshire farm last month.
In part 2, he says his Roman Catholic cellmate Arnoldo’s prayers were answered by his release from prison and appearance at the press conference. He also claims Jesus would support illegal immigrants.

Piece of garbage, I’m disappointed in Vermont
They obviously do not care about the people of Vermont! It’s so disgusting and such a misuse of our Tax Dollars on those that aren’t citizens and he obviously supports our enemies!
Did I hear and see legislators clapping for “Jesus’ teachings,” from the mouth of a “born again” Buddhist? LOL.

This pretty much describes the state of our world today. The things we should be ashamed of, we now celebrate. We celebrate them because we are blinded to the truth.
I’m so disappointed in the Vermont leadership. I truly believe that our vote in Vermont is not legitimate and the positions go to the highest bidders. What Vermont really needs is voting reform to assure us citizens that our vote counts.
This is all about sowing seeds of discontent in a fertile soil, and with the “progressives” in power it’s more like sowing seeds directly into a manure pile. People like Mohsen Mahdawi are looking to recruit soldiers for their army of bleeding heart anti-symetic sympathizers. The whole truth will be laid bare eventually, and my bet is that there are a lot of foreign 30 + year old “college students” that are here to foment political unrest, and what better place to accomplish this mission than in establishments that exists to question any and all accepted doctrines.
Vermont is an utter disgrace. Mahdawi played a prominent role in coordinating pro-Hamas protests at Columbia University following the brutal attack on October 7, 2024, by Hamas on Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization, Only the loons that run this state would shower accolades on a Jew-hating, terrorist-supporting activist.
And yet the House devotional on April 24 was given by a Jewish man, a former VT legislator, to recognize Yom HaShoah, a Jewish Holocaust Remembrance Day. Ella Chapin, who stated she is of Jewish decent and had also introduced a bill to include the option for elected officials to swear their oath according to their own word, and not under God, also made a statement during the devotional. They will pander wherever the tailwinds take them.
The recruitment has been going on for quite some time. The situation is going to come to a head in the not-too-distant future. I hope people realize this and they are prepared. Mahdawi is one of thousands of individuals across the Republic that are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Mahdawi is a paid terrorist in Training! No visible means of support yet he’s attending Columbia University? Antisemitic and demonstrating support for the Hamas atrocities. Like our vaulted senator Sanders and his ‘Our Revolution’ tour, Mahdawi is also recruiting for a revolution. Looks like he has found fertile grounds to proselytize dimwits under the ‘Golden Doom’ in Montpelier…

Hopefully, Vermont Progressives and Democrats out there will, sooner than later, figure out that Trump Derrangement Syndrome is the mental-health equivalent to the Wuhan Lab Covid-19 virus that first decimated the American culture five years ago. It’s manufactured.
Surely reasonable people will begin to realize that their incendiary hatred for all things Trump is being ignited and fanned by Chinese/WEF psychological operations. It’s the same strategy being exercised in almost every western country. Forget about the military. The game being played now is a Psyop, designed specifically to take advantage of western philanthropic sensibilities.
Does this guy, Mohsen Mahdawi, know he’s being psychologically manipulated? Or is he an operative? I don’t know. But I do suspect that most of Vermont’s progressive/democrats are unknowing pawns being manipulated by outside agencies like the Chinese and other New World Order operatives (Soros, the UN, the WEF, etc.).
Whatever the case, the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative reads like a Rod Serling Twilight Zone episode. Their operation manual, ‘How to Serve Man’ (aka Black-Lives-Matter, aka From-the-River-to-the-Sea, aka the Global Warming Solutions Act) – all of it…. it’s a cookbook!
And Vermont Democrats, Progressives, and pretend Republicans alike, better figure this out soon. Because they too are on the menu.
Mr. Eshelman, I do not believe that Vermont Progressives and Democrats, or any of these two groups anywhere in the world will ever figure anything out. There are some walkaways but by and large, they will NEVER admit to being incorrect. Ever. They are thoroughly brainwashed. There is no longer a functioning intellect inside their braincase.
Mahdawi is an operative and playing these silly liberals like a concert violinist. You are spot on that Dems, Progs and pretend Repubs are on the menu too.
He can be both agent and operative. There is always manipulation.
Invoking the name of Jesus as a pretense for evil is heinous and disgraceful, but this has always been part of the devil’s playbook. I’m not saying Mahdawi is the devil, but that he is being used by the devil. All those who applaud him—who, under nearly any other circumstance, would seethe at the name of Jesus being mentioned under the Golden Dome in appropriate and honest reference and reverence— are being manipulated by him.
Mr. Mahdawi’s snide comment about being kidnapped was swallowed hook, line and sinker by every brainwashed fool in the room. Let’s talk about kidnapping, shall we? Let’s stick Mr. Mahdawi in a tunnel for two years and see how he fares.

Will Mr. Mahdawi be the grand marshall of the Pride parade this year? Being that he has joined ranks with the legion of DEI Dem/Progs, taking their money, standing in unity, stroking the egos, he should have no problem putting on the whole performance. He should carry their flag and show his solidarity with his brotheren supporters. He could have a super special, flashy, tacky, embellished float complete with drag queens and all the bright vibrant colors of the rainbow – inverted of course.

What? About 20 semesters as an undergraduate at Dartmouth (it denies) Lehigh, Columbia? In his mid thirties. Most college diplomas issue after 8 semesters. How does he support himself? Why is he organizing anti Jewish protests at every school he “attends.” Why did he want to buy a sniper rifle and an automatic weapon? Ever heard of the term agent provocateur? We wrung our hands after 911 to figure out how we let the guys who wanted only to fly planes but not land them into and stay in our country. Wake up, America. The Islamic extremists are infiltrating our universities and poisoning the minds of our children, who have already been taught to hate America and capitalism by their high school teachers.
