Alfred E. Brochu, a 71-year-old inmate from Newport, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility (TCCF) in Mississippi on Sunday.
Despite immediate life-saving efforts by TCCF medical staff and emergency medical services, Brochu passed away at the Northwest Delta Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The Vermont Department of Corrections announced his death, noting that it does not appear suspicious at this time.
Brochu was serving a life without parole sentence for the aggravated murder of 18-year-old Tara Stratton, in January of 2003. The crime, which took place in Stratton’s Barre apartment, involved Brochu sexually assaulting and stabbing Stratton to death, along with mutilating her body.
Brochu had a history of criminal activities, including sexual assault and other violent offenses, stretching from 1982 to 2002. – Newport Dispatch

Hell just got another resident
That will save VT taxpayers a little money.
speaking of dead///jacob rothschild is dead/// one would guess that the key boards thumpers have no interest talking about this person/// do some research about this man and his connections/// some names are not well known///
The rumors and lies about the Rothschild family have been debunked for years. Maybe you should find something better to do than reading conspiracy theories all day in your mother’s basement.
Why was he jailed in Mississippi?
Vt and other states send long term Prisoners to other states. There is a fee of course, but seeing as how no one wants anymore penitentiaries in this state there aren’t many alternatives
Yawn. Good riddance.
