Dear the Editor:

Here is a quote from a recent Herald article:

“Scott wanted to buy down the tax rate using surplus funds, which O’Brien and others said would have created bigger problems in future years and actually cost taxpayers more money.” 

So, our Governor tried to save us VT taxpayers, but democrats like O’Brien, Becca White and Alison Clarkson, thought we taxpayers should give more of their hard earned money to fund their incompetent policies! Read between the lines here, the three democrats above are stating that they are to stupid and incompetent to fix the problem they created, so they insisted we pay more taxes this year! Because next year these three democrats plan to hit us with another 25% to 50% tax increase next year! Again, as their own words admitted, they are to stupid and incompetent to fix the problem they created!

And what are we getting for these outrageous taxes being thrust upon us by the three democrats? Well O’Brien was kind enough to state the truth, we are getting nothing for our money!

“O’Brien said figuring out why schools are so expensive for “pretty mediocre” results was key.”

Let’s start by cutting the school budgets in half! We can cut the school budget in half, get rid of useless bureaucrats without cutting any teachers. At some point we need to get rid of some of the nutty teachers, and as a recent parent to students in our local schools, there are plenty of nutty teachers that need to be replaced! 

Let’s go back 20 years and look for a time when our student test scores were better and the budget 20 years ago, adjusted for Harris’s outrageous inflation, is what the new school’s budget should be. 

Where do people get the money to pay for these crazy democrats taxes? Based on what I have seen, signs in Hancock complaining about a 36.5% tax increase, and most people seeing tax increases are experiencing a minimum of a $100 a month tax increase, with a lot of working people seeing $200 or $300 a month or more tax increase. Where are all the Vermonters that can afford these taxes and are voting these democrat nuts into office? 

I’m old enough to remember when democrats actually cared about the citizens they represented. These new democrats have absolutely no feelings for the people they represent. They have an agenda, and they expect all of us working people to pay for it. 

Don’t forget that the three democrats above plan to give themselves a huge raise next year so that they can afford the outrageous taxes being forced down our throats! How many Vermonters are going to get a $100, $200, or $300+ a month raise next year to pay for this tax increase? And if you are lucky enough to get a raise like that these three democrats will tax you even more because you made more money! 

And as if these three democrats have not done enough to destroy the lives of all working Vermonters, just wait, these three democrat nuts plan to pass the unaffordable heat act that is going to quadruple our heating costs. Who can afford this?

Oh yeah, there is still more! These three democrats also added a payroll tax on poor working Vermonters and that wasn’t enough harm to us Vermonters so these three also increased our DMV fees by over 20%. These 3 democrats will not stop until they can steal every dime we poor working people earn!

I was at a local restaurant and after stating my opinion  I was encouraged to write this letter. I mentioned that it’s not enough for us to vote these nuts out of office, all of our friends, neighbors and fellow Vermonters have to join forces to get these nuts out of our lives and pocket book! It’s time to start asking friends and neighbors are they going to vote to save Vermont or are they going to vote to destroy VT?

If you have so much money you can burn that money in a fireplace to heat your house, great for you. If you don’t have that much money, then why are you voting for these democrat nuts that are going to destroy your life?

There is no nice way to put it! These democrats are nuts, and they intend to take every dime you earn to pay for their outrageous plans! And then these three nuts intend to give themselves a huge raise so that they can afford to live while we all suffer!

Note the following statement in the Herald article: ” Joining White and Clarkson is Democrat Joe Major of White River Junction. The trio have formed a three-person team to run as a group.” So, they have warned us, don’t vote for Joe Major either, or these three senator nuts intend to work as a team to destroy our lives!

So, my fellow Vermonters, will you vote Republican and save our state, or do you intend to vote for these candidates, idiot democrats, that intend to destroy our state and make it impossible to afford to live in Vermont. Even if you have so much money you can afford theses outrageous taxes, are you so uncaring of your fellow Vermonters that you will vote to bankrupt them or force them to move out of state?

Also, those poor Vermont Casting workers who just lost their jobs is a sad situation. Well Vermonters, get used to it, there is no way businesses in Vermont will be able to remain in business under the tax and utility prices that are going to be forced upon us by these nutty democrats. My step daughter just got a good job at a local company in Randolph. The only question is is how long before these idiot democrats drive those jobs out of Vermont. And I would not expect very many businesses to move to Vermont under our current legislative plans to take every dime we make for their nutty plans. So, don’t expect any new jobs in Vermont to replace the Vermont Casting jobs we just lost.
