Letter to Editor:
Since Trump’s Border Czar took charge the number of illegals crossing our southern border has dramatically decreased. This past week, in a 24-hour period, the number of encounters was 229. Under Biden the number was often 10,000 or more a day.
President Trump achieved this success without more appropriations or additional legal authority. He just enforced the same laws on the books available to former President Biden and Democrats. They refused to enforce them. Despite all the political rhetoric by Biden/Harris and Democrats in Congress they did not need a special bill last year. That was all a smokescreen to get more resources to fuel more illegal activity.
During the Biden Administration our country was invaded by more than 10 million illegals. It was a conscious decision by Mr. Biden and supported by his party. They failed in the most vital role as elected officials to protect our nation from threats of an illegal invasion. Data supports this conclusion with the number of border encounters, financial burdens, and increased crime in our communities. It is estimated to cost taxpayers billions…maybe trillions.
Treason is defined as a betrayal of trust. We need to uncover and prosecute those responsible because if the last four years go unpunished, it will happen again. Democrats or whatever scheming group of persons or NGO’s will open the border again. -Frank Mazur, South Burlington

All of those people involved in implementing the open border policy, who swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” should be investigated, and if found guilty of breaking this sacred oath, prosecuted to the fullest extent. Laws are not worth the paper they are written on without consequences.
Truth, Mr. Mazur. And these VT legislators & state reps and US Senators who are still openly and vocally refusing to obey US law – MUST be subjected to the same right here.
Treason is the most serious crime a public official can be charged with. These Communists mistakenly thought that through their decades of higher education indoctrination of the youth, and through their “community organizing” in attempts to acclimate our citizenry to the counterfeit “attractiveness” of Communism or Marxism, i.e.: “SOCIALISM, they were in like flynn. Not. so. fast. insurrectionists!
Instead – even portions of the youth are turning against their attempted takeover of this republic, as is being seen in many countries in Europe as well, and the population is resisting as never seen before. Golly, who would have ever thought that taking away freedoms from a free people wouldn’t be as easy as they imagined??
Cuff them. Convict them. And TRASH this Communist coup once and for all. McCarthy was right!!!!!!!!
All the Commiecrats scream about is “constitutional crisis” for the Constitution they have never read.
The Biden administration and the Commiecrats created a constitutional crisis every time they circumvented the Bill of Rights, Told Facebook and other platforms to stifle information on covid, Trump and other issues, ignored the Supreme Court on relieving student loan debt, passed gun control when the constitution says they cannot, did not enforce or ignored any of the immigration and border laws and let millions of illegals in to create a new voting base for them. When their judges issue nationwide stays and injunctions against Trumps executive orders granted to him under Article II of the Constitution to be the chief executive of the United States.
THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND THEIR AGENDA IS THE REAL CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS.
The only way for them to advance their agenda is to do away with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Everything the author and commenters above have said is 100% true. However, we’d all be well-served to remember…
We’ve waited a long time, and now our time has come. President Trump is fixing this country at an incredible pace. We all see and hear about it every day. But, much as we wish he could, he can’t fix everything at once.
Years ago I was told a couple of things. One was to Trust the Plan. The other was that President Trump has no intention of straightening things out now, only to have the next Demonrat or RINO who gets in undo it all. He knows it has to be fixed forever, and he knows in has to be fixed Constitutionally, not by executive orders, which are, of course, temporary. I don’t think anyone with common sense can disagree with that strategy.
What we’re witnessing is a professional, strategic operation that has been role-played and gamed-out probably a thousand times, if not more. My advice?
Trust the Plan.
