An emergency meeting of the Town of Middlesex selectboard shows local leaders trying to grapple with two consecutive years of severe flooding.
Middlesex Town Clerk Sarah Merriman wrote the minutes of the July 11 emergency meeting and published them on the town website. The report offers a ‘fly on the wall’ view of how a small town, led by a volunteer selectboard, is trying to respond.
After a brief report on washouts, and some good news about an expected washout that didn’t happen, the board committed to assessing the damage and making a plan.
“After this weekend, Eric and Steve Martin are going to come up with a game plan. Steve emailed the current FEMA project manager who said to go ahead, take lots of photos and make the repairs.”
Almost immediately a major problem is raised: what do we do about repair work, now under contract and underway, for 2023 flood repairs? New flooding has made the 2023 repair plan at least partly outdated.
“The question is what to do with [repair contractors] Dirt Tech which was awarded a contract last spring to do permanent repairs from the 2023 flood and is working on those repairs now. Steve Martin noted the dynamics of the roads have changed.
“Liz asked about Dirt Tech’s billing; Steve Martin said Dirt Tech will bill the 2024 flood repairs separately. Peter asked if this will be reimbursed by FEMA. It was agreed that only if Middlesex is declared a disaster area. Zara said she’s been telling people to go on VT211 and list their damages.
Liz discouraged people from doing work on their driveways and expecting the town reimbursement. However, people should document their own damage with photos and receipts for the work and submit claims under their own FEMA reimbursement.
After some discussion about shelters and road markings, a selectman noted that beaver dams have led to flooding on a town highway.
“Steve Dennis said beaver dams in the town forest may have contributed to massive flooding on Notch Road. He suggested removing the beaver and draining the dams.”
The report ends there, with lots of observations and questions, and few answers.

This is the result of environmentalist (so called Naturalists), politicians (that know everything about nothing), EPA and FEMA to mention a few policy crapology scenarios.
Over the years with increasing floods it washes the banks and hillsides into the streams. AT one time (Early years) , don’t believe the 1927 flood caused as much damage as happening today, the streams had deep channels, now have been filled. Where does the same amount of water go that once flowed in the channels? It spreads out and increases land damage for major wash outs. The above article mentions results.
What to do, pass legislation over riding the emotional government and naturalists to correct the problem, or face more destruction. Simple solution, dredge out he stream beds, create the once deep channels by dredging so the flooding waters are better contained. This procedure has to be repeated in various times depending on how many heavy storms like the one that just happened as Beryl. produced. Driving the highways you can see the tremendous hillsides that have been washed into the streams Example Rt 11 Chester to Londonderry. A small stream, babbling brook, that washed out the banks. West of Chester, floods wash ed over fields with debris making the field useless until (if) cleared. The evidence is all around. Dig the stream channels. The controlling politicians don’t have a clue, but know how to tax. Takes public force so politicians “see the light” But have to contain them so they won’t raise property tax to do nthe construction. They have more money that’s being wasted. Have to change the stupid mindset that Liberals possess and do something that makes sense.

A whopping 87% of therapists reported that they have spoken with their patients about politics. In terms of political party, 63% of therapists believed most of their patients were Democrat, 11% believed most were Republican, 6% Independent, 8% another affiliation, and 12% believed that most of their patients had no political preference.
The investigators also found that therapists who believed that most of their patients shared their political views were more likely to talk about politics in therapy.
Furthermore, 87% of therapists speak to their patients about politics.
But it gets worse. It turns out that the vast majority of psychologists are also liberal.
The ratio of liberals to conservatives in the broader field of psychology is 14-to-1, and only 6% of therapists describe themselves as conservative “overall,”.

So, 94% of therapists are liberal, and 87% of therapists speak to their patients about politics. All I can say is keep off of the therapist’s couch if you wish to save your sanity and most definitely keep your kids far away!

In rereading the headline of this article, I’m very surprised that it was mentioned that BEAVERS might be the cause of flooding and should be addressed. Quote: “Destroy the beaver dams”? You find BEAVER dams in very remote areas. Flooding happens in streams that lead to major rivers, no BEAVER population involved. But the poor BEAVER can be involved by the fallacy of the human mind to spread blame. If the BEAVER dams were the cause, there goes the Trout and other benefits within those dams areas. Find me a BEAVER dam near a stream washout. Actually, BEAVER dams control flooding by containing excessive water. When a BEAVER dam is presenting a problem, it is removed by F & G. Environmentally, BEAVERS support more wild life than humans: animals, fish, insects, plants and are amazing to watch. NO human could do what they do. Like turn trees with mud into dams and housing. Their pelts were a source for barter of goods and clothing.
Noted that flood control dams , human made have been removed as not viable, Conn River, Black river, White River and many more. Connection to flooding???? Many individuals if aware, know more than what I’ve mentioned.
Several decades ago a Beaver damn broke in Essex or Williston broke and the ensuing flood washed out the CV rail tracks and derailed a north bound Amtrack train causing death and bodily injuries too quite a few
How about we address the weather modification (geoengineering) that is blatantly being performed in our skies!!

That is nothing more than water vapor caused by condensation from commercial aircraft. Nothing sinister about it at all.
Totally agree with you. Seen a lot of that sky modification. I haven’t made the connection of sky modification (contrails). Have data from pilots that said what they were doing. As learned the modifications have happened from England to the US West Coast and points in Canada.
My comments are the result on the ground situations and how to correct dystrophies and the mental controllers. But, I haven’t seen immediate relationship of what I see in the skies and when flooding happens. Unknowing the scientific and real consequence in a separate time frame between the two scenarios am dumb, but not stupid. Don’t think there’s an absolute time frame of when (skies)and the end (floods). Eventually the data will surface. I contend there is a connection.
Tennesee passed legislation and allegedly five other States are proposing to ban the practice of sinister sky dusting.
I find it ironic the “environmentalist” (emphasis on “mental”) don’t seem to mind polluting the sky with alumunium by-products or the amount of “fossil fuels” used by mulitple jets flying across the sky in tandem one right after another. They don’t mind the dusters spraying toxic insecticides into neighborhoods…it kills mosquitoes, but perfectly “safe and effective” for humans and pets.
Remember when Bill Gates was working on a plan to block out the sun? They always telegraph their eugensist plans and no one raises an eyebrow. He’s one sick evil man and all his followers and enablers are as equallly sick and depraved!

I have been in the Air Force flying and maintaining KC-135’s and B-52′ (with nukes) The visual difference between Contrails (that dissipate with a short distance). Contrails develop in cold altitudes 40,000 feet and higher( I’ve flown well over 50,000 ft) Whereas the Chem trails linger and last at lower altitudes and can cover the complete sky for hours. Can show you my AF pics and B-52 log time if needed. Info on the Internet isn’t “scientific study”.

It would take more digging than I presently have time for, but when you combine Chem trails as mentioned by Tom’s flight observations, and the capabilities of HAARP that has managed to evade much public attention for some time now, you can see how cloud formations can be manipulated to linger, to draw moisture from this weather formation, to be tipped to locate where and to some extent even the when the downpours will happen. Originally HAARP was designed to manipulate weather patterns to help prevent major droughts and famines, but in today’s hands there are more malevolent than benevolent outcomes. HAARP is located in Alaska, and knows the jamming routines to keep investigative reporting at bay, even when he is a former Navy Seal/Governor.

When the government or who ever is spraying the sky’s. With the brain washing saying that they are doing so to help the rain! Then in the next breath say they are blocking out the sun to reduce the temperatures! What is the real weather? Now after the article the Dimming came out. The chemicals being sprayed in the Chem trails. Are they attempting to destroy live and destroy the soil & water. Heat domes only reared there ugly heads in 2012. With the chemicals being sprayed adding aluminum to the mix being a major chemical. Then they have HARPP that is a micro wave antenna system’s around the nation & world. On cell towers. After the spraying the government turns on HARPP and that aluminum heats up. creating the heat domes. Then the systems move across the nation. I was a video the other day. showing that when HARPP is activated (at night) the heat domes dry up the clouds and drying up the rain that could fall. We have a bunch of very dangerous people in government and or NGO’s. They are out to destroy life of the planet for what end. Aluminum is very poisonous to carbon life.
