Celebrate our flag and nation, and the rule of law!

Vermonters are invited to rally for liberty and the Constitution at 11 AM on June 14 on the State House lawn.
The first official US flag was adopted on June 14, 1777, by a Resolution of the Second Continental Congress stating, “That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”
This “new constellation” has stood firm for the ensuing 248 years, though the number of member states standing for liberty, justice, and equality has grown.
As our nation faces civil strife and lawlessness, we must pray that we see our 250th anniversary of nationhood. Ironically, the holiday we now celebrate as Flag Day originated after the 1861 attack on Fort Sumter that marked the beginning of the US Civil War, as a Union display of opposition to the Confederate rebellion.
As California laughably threatens secession, it is fitting that we in Vermont — a similar bastion of anti-American, anti-Constitutional, progressive rebellion — fly our US flag high and strong, as a demonstration that we yet remain free despite toxic Marxist determination to extinguish our Constitutional system, destroy our livelihoods, and rewrite our history. Those who hate America do not speak for Vermont — they disgrace it! Our state fought hard in the US Civil War to preserve our union and end slavery. This flag is their legacy to us….
No Mexican flags for me. No Palestinian flags for me. I will join others willing to invest the time, at this propitious moment, to celebrate our nation and its continued presence as a constellation for the world, a destination of liberty, justice, and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, color, creed, sexual orientation, or other tribalist identity divisions.
It may be that those who hate our flag, Constitution, nation, and free speech liberties take exception to our display of affection for those very things. If so, we will film them and share their disgraceful contempt for America and its institutions with the nation. Freedom is not free. Our Statehouse lawn needs regular mowing, and our preservation of our heritage also requires maintenance! Please join us to demonstrate patriotic unity in opposition to divisive partisan imbecility!

I’m all for such a celebration, on principle. I’m NOT for blindly ignoring the march toward A.I. governance via Real ID, $500 billion for Stargate data (surveillance) centers, and creating a master database on every American in partnership with Big Tech. Meanwhile, we have orchestrated and funded riots going on that will provide the pretext for taking away more citizen rights in the name of “security.” Just because MAGA got its second term is no reason to fall asleep. Keep your leadership accountable.

What hangs in my spirit is why was the poem “The Snake” read several times? Why was a tech “giant” lifted up, later to be followed by a legion of tech “giants” front and center at the inauguration? What is the meaning of “Dark Maga?” I notice the symbolism in their garb, the lavish wining, dining, and gladiator-type spectacles, the gathering of the most wealthy, most influential swirling around, tickling the itching ears. A golden age such as the time of the Pharaohs and worshipping false gods? Peak discernment – while others remain blinded by the gilded cage around them, staring into black mirrors. It is on both sides of the fence – perhaps there is no fence between the powers that appear to be opposing forces? Is it all an illusion – the grand deceptions written and warned about – signs of the end times?
God will not be mocked. Who He may choose to carry out His will – any willful disobiedence and/or rebellion will bring correction – it that doesn’t work – judgement.
