Klar: New ‘study’ extolling greenie redistribution unwittingly exposes toxic climate cult

The ugly head of eco-Marxism.

by John Klar

So-called “climate science” extends far beyond the traditional bounds of science built on facts and logic and is driven by emotions, amounting to essentially a religious cult masquerading as scientific discipline.

The more climate “studies” depart from traditional scientific foundations, the more bizarre the efforts to taint objective determinations with moralizing policies.

A recent example is displayed by a climate ecologist who has undertaken to solve humanity’s most ancient moral challenges through globally orchestrated renewable energy and wealth redistribution.

Take the example of “environmental redistributism.”

These climate “scientists” promise to rework all human social relations to reverse the existence of carbon dioxide.

A recent “study” seeks to employ climate modeling to reallocate wealth and solve the moral conundrum of human inequality. The researchers claim this is “paradigm shifting” plan for “environmental redistributionism” (a.k.a., ecosocialism).

Professor of Ecology at Oregon State University’s College of Forestry William Ripple said:

“We aim to bend the curves on a wide range of planetary vital signs with a holistic vision for addressing climate change, biodiversity loss and socioeconomic injustice. Our work presents a case for how humanity can embark on the journey of saving the world from these environmental and social crises.”

This is science fiction fantasy: Prof. Ripple has left the science class and entered the climate chapel.  He did not propound a new currency, tax structures, or motivations for humanity to give up personal property, but that will likely infuse his environmental justice pseudo-scientific sequel.

Other voices are joining him.

The Climate Cacophany

Within the recent “climate” study are the visible seeds of justification for governments, globalists, and corporations to take totalitarian control of individuals and their liberties (including eating choices) and wealth (to balance the world “equitably”):

….we call for the development of a new restorative pathway scenario that would go further for sustainability and equity than the current SSP1. ….The scenario would also focus on reducing the consumption of primary resources to keep environmental pressures within planetary boundaries. The restorative pathway would represent a more equitable and resilient world with a focus on nature preservation with vast reserves as a natural climate solution; post-growth economics; societal well-being and quality of life; equality and high levels of education for girls and women resulting in low fertility rates with higher standards of living; more efficient crop fertilizer use; a diet shift with major reductions in meat production; and a rapid transition towards renewable energy….

This distillation of the Green New Deal into the guise of scientific study is a bait-and-switch too far.  The more climate ideology steers humans toward grand schemes of totalitarian domination, the more apparently disconnected from established liberties and traditional scientific methods it becomes. The climate priests of woke theocracy are polluting science in the name of ending pollution.

Then there’s ecosocialism

Governments which have failed to provide equity, a perfect society, and an end to all evil thought are to be replaced by a globalist power which will now cure all of these problems, in toto

The Biden administration has announced its own pseudo-scientific plans, claiming Joe Biden is:

….laying the foundation for the most ambitious environmental justice agenda ever undertaken by an Administration and putting environmental justice and climate action at the center of the federal government’s work.

The executive order formalized the President and the Vice President’s commitment to ensuring that all federal agencies develop programs, policies, and activities to address the disproportionately high and adverse health, environmental, economic, climate, and other cumulative impacts on communities that are marginalized, underserved, and overburdened by pollution.

The environment has become the Marxist Trojan horse through which the government seizes all power over all humanity.

Other areas of science have similarly abandoned trusted moorings for strange skies.  Scientific reasoning has been jettisoned for an ideological agenda that has nothing to do with the scientific method but instead abuses science to attain totalitarian domination.

Scientific research may one day establish unequivocally that totalitarian domination is evil.  In the interim, what used to be called science has lost its way, and in 2024 looks more like necromancy, wizardry, or plain old-fashioned snake-oil chicanery.

  1. Sounds exactly like what happened during the recent F&W regulation changes for Trapping and Coyote hounding. Replace a time proven success story called wildlife management with an emotion driven, cancel culture, discriminatory system completely disconnected from nature.

  2. Don’t look now…but as “Joe Biden pushes green energy policies” (ostensibly to shrink our carbon footprint), … he is simultaneously allowing U.S. oil companies to pump a global record of 13.3 million barrels of crude per day. That’s right. While we little people are struggling with solar power and windmill subsidies, subsidizing electric vehicle purchases, paying ever higher gas and fuel oil taxes, trading carbon credits like currency, the U.S. has been producing more crude oil every day for the last year than at any time in its history…even more oil production than during Trump’s drill-baby-drill years.

Global Warming and Climate Change? Cut me a break. What more proof does one need to understand that CO2 is anything but the boogeyman it’s being made out to be. We’re being gamed by politicians, the central banks, the oil companies, and every environmental globalist on the planet.

Again, in its 1991 publication, The First Global Revolution, the Club of Rome (an adjunct to the World Economic Forum folks) published the following.

The Common Enemy of Humanity Is Man
“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. In their totality and in their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which demands the solidarity of all peoples. But in designating them as the enemy, we fall into the trap about which we have already warned, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

This isn’t simple ‘snake-oil’. And it’s certainly not ‘scientific reasoning’, by any stretch of the imagination. It is, as Mr. Klar explains, “the Marxist Trojan horse through which the government seizes all power over all humanity.”

So… now you know. This Trojan Horse is already inside the gates of the country. It was built in our public-school monopoly. What you choose to do about it now depends on where each of you stands at this point in time. All I can recommend is this… resist – in any way you can.

  3. During World War II the British authorities in, I believe Singapore, needed to increase food tonnage. The refining of brown rice into white rice was forbidden. The infant mortality rate plummeted. The hospital ship Hope was there looking for ways to lower the infant mortality rate. This scenario was, to say the least, embarrassing.
The present powers seem to want the opposite. High tech, drugs, strange substances such as crickets, to solve invented shortages.

  4. What I’d like to know is what does this sentence mean: “The scenario would also focus on reducing the consumption of primary resources to keep environmental pressures within planetary boundaries.” Is there some way for the “consumption of primary resources to keep environmental pressures” off the planet? Is there an environment off the planet that is in peril?
I’m a fairly simple minded person so maybe I’m missing some nuances or obvious facts. Anybody know what that author was referring to??

    • I believe primary resource as of now would be meat and oil consumption. I am sure there are more.

    • If you listen to the speakers at Davos, they lay out the agenda quite clearly. In response, the current protests in the EU are a good sign the agenda is failing. The war on humanity is cloaked in blatant lies, deception, and distractions. Spoiler alert: God wins!

    • Pam: Isn’t it obvious? It means that “…we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill.”

Deciphering the minutia of the climate cult’s logic is an exercise in futility. That’s part of the deception – the shiny objects of graphs, models, and sophistry – logic that has proven to be inaccurate over and again.

When they can claim on one hand that fossil fuel consumption is the problem, while at the same time pumping more oil into the economy than at any time in U.S. history, does that indicate a real concern that CO2 is the issue? Of course not. The planet is getting warmer. It’s been getting warmer for the past 10,000 years. CO2 levels have increased from 3 parts per million to 4 parts per million. That’s a difference of 1 part per million. Hello.

I’d like to know why no one is addressing this specific and blatant false dichotomy, let alone figuring out what to do about it.

“Who is more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him?”

  5. “Equality and high levels of education for girls and women resulting in low fertility rates with higher standards of living.”

This same/similar statement is made in various United Nations documents. The United Nations through the WHO are the entities that initiated the Gender Affirming Care protocols, and support that abortion is tied to a woman’s reproductive health. This statement is an oxymoron. The UN is really referencing reproductive health relative to controlling and maintaining global population numbers.

Replacement Migration, a UN agenda, is needed because educated women have far less children. See UM document Replacement Migration a solution for aging and declining populations (2001).

The UN knows that Western countries are facing a population collapse as birth rates have dipped below replacement levels. The UN stated that wealthier counties are better positioned for the population collapse and it would work with governments to migrate people from poor countries to wealthier counties because wealthier counties had more resources than poorer countries. So the UN gets what it wants on both counts: 1) to reduce fertility rates via education and improved economic outcomes for women, and 2) helps poor countries by relocating citizens to America for economic reasons. A win win for everyone but America who will be forced to provide housing, food, health insurance and other resources.

  6. Ah, nope folks, PLANETARY BOUNDARIES…. At the risk of beating a dead horse…. The sentence begs the question. How else would resources be used? If they are talking ozone layer, why not state that? If they are talking “off world”, why wouldn’t you state that? Do you see what I am saying?
Obviously it got by you as well. Unless again, I am missing something. Why state “planetary boundaries” as that would be the obvious, unless you are speaking of “off planet” boundaries. And what in the world would that mean?

    • Honestly, I doubt they know what it means as they are prone to throw words around to distract and confuse on purpose (witchcraft and spell casting.) It could be a set up to play the alien card once again, proclaiming they are the superior species and leaders of the inter-planetary federation, or just speaking nonsense for grants and endless funding. NASA = Not A Space Agency

  7. These are the policy truths taken from random reading –

“We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation

“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony, climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.” – Christine Stewart, fmr Canadian Minister of the Environment

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” – Maurice Strong, founder – UN Environment Program.

    • Exactly, what America does not understand is that these policies are to degrade America into a third world country as our resource and wealth will be stripped from the citizentry to improve the lives of undeveloped countries. Americans will be nothing more than serfs.
