Regarding the BB gun incident…people who brandish anything resembling a gun out in public in a threatening manner should be aware that there are responsible citizens who carry real firearms and may be ready to use them in immediate response to what they reasonably perceive as an IMMINENT THREAT to themself or others. Unlike what occurred, the initial response by an armed and responsible citizen may not be to call 911. Of course, school grounds are a “gun free zone” so this incident didn’t really happen anyhow…
