Topics and takeaways from last Friday’s VDC-TV Friday at Four:
In recent Vermont Public pre-election debates, Vermont legacy media and elected politicians have a hard time dealing with unrepentant conservative candidates like Gerald Malloy and Mark Coester. E.G. what was with Bernie Sanders losing his temper, repeatedly calling Trump a ‘pathological liar?’
A Democrat candidate for an open Rutland House seat is strangely silent on her full-time job as a staff attorney for the Conservation Law Foundation, the activist green lawyers who are suing the State of Vermont for failure to reach assigned carbon reduction goals.
He was just a little kid when his dad, incumbent Gov. Ray Keyser, lost to Democrat Phil Hoff. It was the first crack in the Republican dam and the flood of Democrats has grown bigger ever since. Now Chris Keyser is running for office for the first time, taking on the assistant leader of the Democratic Supermajority.
Did Chris Bray, the influential chair of the Senate Natural Resources and Energy Committee allow a personal relationship with a lobbyist to color his handling of Act 250 and Affordable Heat Act bills? We discuss…..
Independent Rep. Laura Sibilia’s gambit to seize control of the House could just succeed if the Dems lose their supermajority and then some….Otherwise it’s what the announcer in the movie ‘Dodge Ball’ calls ‘a bold move.’
….And more! Plus…..
We dig the new digs! Co-host Paul Bean and I debuted a new studio space for last Friday’s episode. Cold weather means the end of creemee season and the beginning of big heating bills in the big Bean building in Northfield, so he and I and my wife Colette asked the Almighty for new digs. And along comes 802 Scoop on Main Street in Barre! Raylene Meunier and co-host Michael Boutin are providing the use of their highly professional, easily accessible studio. Early reviews show that sound, light, video quality were all terrific.

Will there be seating for an audience or can you call in on dates advertised? This is democracy in action and important in addressing whether elections are free and fair in Vermont.
Guy and Paul, you have done so much to wake up the electorate—thank you.
Kennedy is asking ALL STATES TO VOTE FOR TRUMP. LISTEN TO H I S INTERVIEWS
Guy, thanks for the recap of your broadcast. I watched it when aired and felt you made some strong points as usual which Vermonters should have seen or can read now. Hope you continue to give readers a summary each week…all these crucial insights bear repeating. I discuss them every week with friends as VDC continues to grow and gives hope for a better tomorrow, hoping that that tomorrow starts the day after national, state, and local elections next week. Save Vermont and America: Vote Republican…
