“The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, kill him.’” This Islamic “iyah” or verse is a documented “doomsday” prophecy. Every self-respecting mujahid, or Muslim guerilla, knows that they must destroy Israel before their Mahdi or Messiah shall return. And then, Palestine will be returned to Islamic rule as “Dar al-Islam”(House of Islam)  and “Dar al-Harb” (House of War).

If you are fact-checking this iyah, it is surprisingly available in hardcover and online in a number of unexpurgated Islam-based references. It is initially to be found in the Sahih al-Bukhari, or the authentic or sound sayings of Mohammad collected by Muhammad ibn (son of) Ismail al-Bukhari (810-870). Hadith 2926 Of The Book Of Jihad (Fighting For Allah’S Cause) By Sahih Al Bukhari | IslamicFinder Sahih al-Bukhari 2926 – Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad) – Sunnah.com – Sayings and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم

According to the online search engine Copilot, the Sahih Al-Bukhari “is considered the most authentic book after the Quran… it is a cornerstone of Islamic scholarship.” The reason for this desert dry scholastic commentary is to acknowledge that October 7th was an Islamic-religious-racist pogrom upon the “infidel” Jewish people. Such Jihadists care little for Christians, too, as evidenced by 911.

The October 7th attack was not based on the popularized righteous fight against “the Israeli occupation” or “the brave Resistance of the Palestinian people against European-capitalist-colonial- Zionism,” as taught in too many Western universities and colleges to impressionable and malleable-minded student bodies.  If that one iyah or verse isn’t enough, read the rest of this essential 8th-century ACE commentary of “spiritual” Islamic scholarship. It has many other unflattering references to non-Moslems.

Direct from the 7th-Century Quran: “O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as allies—they are guardians of each other. Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” Surat Al-Ma’idah [5:51-52] – The Noble Qur’an – القرآن الكريم (quran.com) If that isn’t proof enough that countless observant Muslims, especially of the wicked Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi variety, are weened and educated from an early age to despise Jews and Christians, then, once again, do your research. But since it is considered anathema for the likes of Vermont Digger, The Barre Times, The Burlington Free Press, 7 Daze, and other Green Mountain-based editorials to criticize Islam and Palestine, don’t look to them for viable validation.

If you’ve ever wondered why the BBC refuses to call Hamas gunmen terrorists, just ask John Simpson, the BBC’s World Affairs editor: “It is not the media’s job to tell people who to support and who to condemn.”  Sure, but after October 7th, such hopped-up and self-serving “objectivity” seems to favor narco-murderers, rapists, baby decapitators, and man burners.

A June 4th CNN summary of Gazan developments read that “An Israeli operation rescues four hostages and kills scores of Palestinians” while also reporting that “at least” 274 Palestinians were killed, “according to Gazan authorities.” This same-day “scoop” strongly suggests a standard Western “fig-leaf” cover-up by repeating the unquestioned figures given to them by Hamas.

The Washington Post ran with “More than 200 Palestinians killed in Israeli hostage raid in Gaza.” The D.C. Democrats Digest also stated that “Israel’s military launched one of the bloodiest raids of the war Saturday…a brazen operation that left unimaginable devastation in its wake.” Just days later, after the Associated Press  disputed that number, the unprofessional Post assigned credit to “local health officials.”

According to Politico-Fact, an online news source, in May, the United Nations publicized a demographic regarding the number of identified Gazans dead. However, the UN relies on questionable data from the Government Media Office in Gaza. There is no way to neutrally confirm how many were killed since Hamas has infiltrated and soiled the credibility of the Gaza Health Authority. To his credit, President Biden expressed that he did not trust such questionable numbers after the initial October attack. PolitiFact | The UN adjusted its Gaza fatality reporting. Here’s what the data does and doesn’t tell us.

Madison Czopek writes in her May 24th Politico article that “Confusion over the figures reached a boiling point May 8, when the UN released data that showed a significant reduction in the number of women and children who had died in Gaza….On May 6, the UN reported greater than 9500 women and greater than 14,500 children dead. Two days later, the figures showed 4,959 women and 7,997 children.”

If one has eyes to see and a critical mind to think without the intoxicating, numbing, and restrictive effects of today’s rabid progressive liberalism, one might acknowledge that something is organically wrong with America after 1200 innocent Israeli civilians are slaughtered by Hamas terrorists video-taping their crimes. And, then,  tens of thousands of Western college students, including a vocal minority at UVM and Middlebury College, celebrate Hamas, not for one day, but for months in professional and paid-for, highly organized protests. 1. Wow, this kind of mirrors the old “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” and other anti-Semitic propaganda of the Nazi Party in the 1930s. By “mirror’ I mean it is the same kind of trash but reversed and held against Muslim. Personally I think these thoughts are a bit extreme for most Vermonters and it would be interesting to see what various Rabbis in our region would have to say about it. Nevertheless these thoughts don’t seem to justify bombing 10s of thousands of women and children or destroying cities in Gaza and Lebanon, not to mention the very bad consequences this kind of uncompromising support for such desperate actions for the long-term security of the State of Israel itself. Since “all the Muslims are against it” you wonder why they bothered to establish Israel in Palestine in the first place or the U. S. went along with it. Seems like it was a very questionable adventure when considered in such terms which is probably why every president has urged Israel to be restrained in its treatment of the Palestinians until Joe Biden.

    • @ John

The author speaks the truth. What he said is in the Koran, is taught in many mosques and is the rallying cry of crazed Islamists who are intent on killing or converting all whom they consider infidels; that means Christians too John, not just the Jews.

I truly don’t understand apologists for Islamists. They are so wedded to their woke fantasies that they ignore what is right in front of them.

And as for why they “established Israel in Palestine “? Israel is the original homeland of the Jewish people which far predates Christianity and certainly Islam. Jews are indigenous to the land, which btw includes Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan and more. The modern country of Israel is in just a small portion of the historical Jewish homeland. For the Muslims who control the Middle East however, having even less than one percent of the region in the hands of non-Muslims is too much.

    • Perhaps you should be reading Mark Hage’s pro-Pal propaganda in the Barre Times, or anything in 7 Daze and Aki Soga’s Free Press, instead of trolling with your left-wing faerie tales. Of course, you accept the Gazan Health Authority’s hyperbolic numbers, and feel sorry for people who want to murder Jews and return “Palestine” to its Islamic roots only 7 centuries ACE and the Jews have been there over 3,000 years before that.

  2. Children know only of which they are taught. Unfortunately, that applies also to many of today’s “educators”.

  3. The phrase “…Do the research…” is telling. I opposed Israel for 4 decades. Then I did the research. I fairness, the attitudes and actions of most organizations and individuals who supported Israel was to suppress discussion. This did irreparable harm to Israel and to the freedoms and democracy of people globally.

  4. Frankly, what Hamas did to innocent Israeli citizens one year ago today far transcends any religious, ideological, or geopolitical agenda. It was pure satanic and demonic evil. To see it as anything less than that, wrongly lets the devil—and those who allowed him to inspire them to such reprehensible and unspeakable wickedness—off the hook.

That said, that same devil 100% inspired Muhammad and the Koran with his utter hatred for God and for His chosen people, the Jews. GW Bush’s blather that Islam is a “Religion of Peace” was a crock designed to desensitize us to and pasteurize its murderous intent, as well as to minimize and legitimize the blatant pedophilia and child rape Muhammad practiced.

This evil maniacal genocidal hatred has never departed planet Earth, but keeps rearing its ugly head throughout the millennia in various forms, isms, and iterations. The devil would like us to think it’s all about land, religion, ideologies, politics, or family feuds—and for sure it’s played out in those spheres—but make no mistake that the father of lies and the serpent of old is the author of such unmitigated evil and hatred against the seed of Abraham, the Jewish people, and the nation of Israel.

It must also be stated that there are many cultural Muslims who do not know or understand what’s really in the Koran or how evil the founder of their religion was. Every religion has its share of those who have sold themselves to evil, regardless of whatever label by which they might refer to themselves.

  5. BTW, Mr. Fernandez, thank you for speaking the truth in your article. It’s so refreshing these days. The grief and trauma is unspeakable.
