It’s easy to understand why Bernie Sanders hates America. The Vermont senator believes the American Constitution is a superstitious, outdated relic, a repressive and racist political manifesto penned by the Bourgeoisie (white Christian slave owners wearing powdered wigs) who ruled over the enslaved masses, the Proletariat.
But configuring the reasons why the surly Sanders hates the tiny Jewish nation, roughly the size of New Jersey, is not an academic exercise in regional politics but in the study of human psychopathology. In May of 1985, the then Mayor of Burlington called upon his far-left comrade, Noam Chomsky, the MIT linguistics professor who has masqueraded for over fifty years as an “expert” in Israel/ Palestine matters. Chomsky, also Jewish, has amassed a huge following, and his ethnic/religious background is highlighted as some ironic professional licensure.
At that Burlington Town Hall meeting, Chomsky accused Israel of being the “surrogate” assassin for the US and carrying out mass killings in “Africa, Asia, and primarily Latin America.” He also accused the Jewish state of killing “thousands, if not tens of thousands of people” in Nicaragua. Bernie Sanders, Self-Hating Jew, Blasts Israeli ‘Occupation’ | The Daily Wire Both men, according to Michael Laitman, are uncomfortable with their Jewishness. For the myriad reasons laid out by the writer, they need to criticize Israel with extreme prejudice. “Why Bernie Sanders hates Israel” (Michael Laitman, Trump and the Diaspora’s coming Holocaust) – The Jerusalem Post (jpost.com)
“Even in the days when we were called ‘Hebrews,’” writes Laitman, “we lived by different moral and social codes. While the rest of the nations lived by the sword, the ancient Hebrews exercised brotherly love and attempted to love their neighbors as themselves. And while the world nurtured individualism, the Hebrews fostered selflessness.” The Torah, or the Pentateuch, was entrusted to the ancient Hebrews as they alone were chosen for the arduous and awesome responsibility of being the Oracles of G-d.
Laitman also writes, “Soon after the ruin of the Temple, anti-Semitism in its more contemporary form of blood-libels, conspiracy theories, and accusations of disloyalty, began to dominate the nations’ attitude toward the Jews. At best, the aristocracy tolerated them for their economic and financial acuity. At worst, they were murdered and driven away.”
According to Laitman, the Jews were unable “to live up to the tenet they themselves had engendered… became as selfish as their host nations, and a great many of them could not understand why they should maintain loyalty to their religion.” And, so, the assimilated became Israel’s fiercest enemies, “holding profound rancor toward their kindred…but this profound self-loathing is not unique; it is also very dangerous.”
In a November 20th article for Media Matters For America, Mark Levin, the popular Fox News commentator, stated, “If you’re a Marxist, you cannot be a practicing Jew or a practicing Christian or a practicing anything. Because…Marxism, by definition, rejects faith, rejects God, rejects different points of view.” Marxism embraces chaos, revolution, and mass murder. Evaluating further the self-loathing of Chomsky and Sanders, Levin states, “And they’re Jewish by birth, but they’re not Jewish in any other way.”
On June 6, 2017, Sanders sent a video message to the Israeli Meretz party, a puny, far-left group holding five seats in the 120-seat Knesset, acknowledging the end of the Six-Day War in 1967 and “50 years of occupation. We are now in the 50th year of Israel’s occupation, an occupation which denies basic Palestinian rights while failing to deliver Israel real security…this occupation must end. Peace, real peace, means supporting self-determination, civil rights and economic well-being for both parties.” zzzzzz. How this wolf doth huff and puff lofty but listless leftist platitudes.
Jackie Mason, the late, great Tony and Emmy Award-winning comic, said this about Sanders, “If a non-Jew was saying it, people would call him an anti-Semite because he is an anti-Semite. Just because he is a Jew doesn’t mean he can’t hate being Jewish because he obviously is a self-hating Jew.”
Jon Lovitz, the comedian, and Alan Dershowitz, the high-profile lawyer, also consider Sanders a conflicted public figure: “Inadvertently you get the social media (from Bernie) supporting Hamas, the New York Times supporting Hamas,” writes Dershowitz, “and it sends a very powerful message: ‘Do it again,” he said. “You’ll prevail on this because of the antisemitism that stimulates so much of this. And you can be a Jew and an anti-Semite.” Lovitz wonders how a socialist like Bernie can own three homes on his $175,000 congressional salary. Jon Lovitz goes after Bernie Sanders, Dem Squad over opposition to Israel | Fox News
Placing ethnic self-hate into context, one can see that it wasn’t just Communist-American politicians who suffered from this issue. During the early 20th Century, it was common for immigrants of Italian, Polish, Czech, Greek, Jewish, Spanish, Arabic, etc., to sometimes change their names to Anglo-Saxon/American-sounding surnames, but this was not usually done out of “self-hate.” It was about assimilation, economics, employment, and survival. However, Bernie is in a position of immense power, and he has been unduly antagonistic to the Judeo-Christian traditions and values of the United States and Israel. With that in mind, Sanders seems to have something in common with Adolph Schiklegrubber, who changed his last name to Hitler. Bernie Sanders is a dangerously influential man in a dark and deranged administration.

Here we go again, Vermont’s ” Socialist ” Barking Buffoon, spewing his hate not just against America but hate for Israel and his Jewish faith, this is the kind of scourge we inherit from NY…………….
Yes, Socialist Sanders hangs with Chomsky, the MIT professor, thinking he’s in the same league, both are intellectual morons, ones book smart, the other is just a babbling fool.
This clown represents our state, we must be the laughingstock of the world, thinking this is the best we have for leadership !!
Our state deserves better
They aren’t “intellectual morons”. They calculate and have serious agendas. If they were stupid they wouldn’t be so capable of doing damage.
phantomroseexpress: Sander’s capability for doing damage has less to do with his intellectual capability (or lack thereof) than it does everyone else’s diminishing capacity to be responsible for themselves. Sanders epitomizes the ‘dangerous’ and oxymoronic Marxist tenant: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help you’. And those who support Sanders have succumbed to his bribery – i.e., accepting the ‘redistribution’ of other people’s money after he (Sanders) takes an inordinate cut of the proceeds for using his superior intelligence on their behalf.
As Obi-wan Kenobi once said: “Who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him.”
Impeccable timing for this article. Just the other day I received an invitation to participate in a Green Mountain survey conducted by SNHU. One survey question asked if I would vote for Bernie Sanders. I responded, no. Then next question asked me why. I stated “Because he is a socialist.” No further explanation required.
Illuminating piece, relying as it does on the expert testimony of three comedians, Mason, Lovitz and Dershowitz.
FYI, we do not send Vermonters to the US Senate in order to represent so-called Judeo-Christian values nor to represent the State of Israel.
Take an hour or so and read Marx’s “On the Jewish Question” (1843) in which he answers Bruno Bauer’s claim that Jews could achieve political emancipation only by giving up their religious consciousness; in his view political emancipation required a secular state.
In Marx’s analysis, however, the “secular state” is not opposed to religion, but rather actually presupposes it.
What exactly do you mean? Your syntax is unclear.
There is a post going around social media about the The Bern. Ties in with recent revelation Tucker Carlson spoke about on Joe Rogan’s show. Likely just a rumor or being that is springtime, birds are singing.
question/// is the bern a member of the left eye black eye cult///
Both Sanders and Chomsky advance concepts based on a limited and biased view of History. I myself opposed Israel for 40 years! What changed my mind was, simply, research. Rhetoric and standardized historical analysis dissolves in the face of simple fact. Israel occupies because it was, and remains, under incessant guerilla attack.
Th same murderous, Russian backed violence that opposes Israel has been busily exterminating and “ethnic cleansing” Christians, in Lebanon, the West Bank, and elsewhere.
Furthermore, the attacks on the founding of this country are lies. E.g.: George Washington himself attempted to eliminate slavery through a clause in the Declaration of Independence. He was thwarted by the Southern Colonies. The list could go on and on. Prof. Chomsky’s analysis of Historical dynamic id based on shallow, indeed bigoted, interpretation that dissolves upon examination.
My two cents: Marx was a pretender. He was lazy, slovenly, an alcoholic with a confused understanding of human nature. Chomsky and, more so today, Sanders are political opportunists. In fact, anyone who interjects religion, ethnicity, or culture into our political context doesn’t understand what the American founders established. Either that or they purposely instigate divisiveness to divert attention from their own misgivings. Marx and Sanders, for example, always view the world as oppressor and oppressed. It’s a cop-out.
Israel and Israelis are just another tribe in the greater scheme of things. Israeli and Palestinian, Catholic and Protestant. Sunni and Shia, Muslim and Hindu, Tutsi and Hutu, and so on and so on. And, as our American founders realized, not only are these factions inevitable, they aren’t always religiously based. James Madison articulated this inevitability in his Federalist Paper #10. In that regard, the question the founders posed to one another was how to create a socio-economic system that was compatible with tribal variety, i.e., with the inevitable infinite and persistent human nature of factions.
Curiously, Marx, Chomsky, Sanders, and Laitman, all have one common characteristic. A gross misunderstanding of ‘individualism’. I don’t know why this is the case. But I suspect it’s because they have an inherent fear of being held accountable for their personal actions. Life seems to frighten them more than it does others. They simply seem to be insecure in their own skins, for whatever reasons or whatever their childhood experiences may have been. And their cognitive bias is reflected in their perception of history, which I find to be incorrect for the most part.
Long story, short: Our American founders established the first form of governance that proved to be capable of dealing with factions. They weren’t the first to consider the governance. Not even close. Babylonians established some similar tenants as they exchanged a nomadic way of life for an agrarian lifestyle. That was 4000 years ago. Plato and Aristotle debated the concept of private property.
One of the most interesting circumstances occurred in 1623 when Plymouth Plantation’s governor, William Bradford, throughout the Mayflower Pact, because half the colony had starved to death under its governance – thus creating the first instance of private property and free enterprise in the American colonies. Subsequently, the colony began to thrive.
Israel is simply protecting itself. As any country would do under similar circumstance. And the final outcome remains to be seen. But these are ‘factions’ on a world stage. And the best way for them to coexist is as plain as the nose on our faces. As one VDC reader recently commented, “… too many people don’t understand economics as it relates to human nature. The two are inextricably connected.” And as I’ve mentioned many times here on VDC, Milton Friedman articulates the concept as well as anyone ever has.
“The great virtue of a free-market system is that it does not care what color people are; it does not care what their religion is; it only cares whether they can produce something you want to buy. It is the most effective system we have discovered to enable people who hate one another to deal with one another and help one another.”
But as long as political opportunists like Bernie Sanders persist with their voodoo, distracting us from their own indiscretions while promoting divisive politics, what we’re seeing in the streets today will certainly get worse before it gets better.
Not to mention that various Palestinian “liberation” groups have consistently broken their treaties.
