  1. I watched the 11/15 Friday at Four later in the evening. Very much appreciated Bob Roper’s insights on the Clean Standard, although the possibility they won’t kill it is discouraging.

  2. Roper and Page in 40 minutes lay out the dysfunction currently in the Vermont legislature and exactly how it affects every homeowner, renter, taxpayer- really every resident of the state. The glaring reality of legislative mandates as dictated by special interest, and the extent of special interest groups and their absolute power over legislators. While not news to most VDC readers- we can see how both legislators and the Vermont resident are kept in silos, only allowed to receive “approved” information and led down a liberal path to economic and social ruin.
Watching this episode is a well spent 40 minutes. If it motivates us to do more- so much the better.

  3. By June of 2025 you will know if what you elected will make any changes. The biggest threat coming is mass layoffs and hyper inflation. Some of Trumps policies could trigger many things in the labor force. Most of these problems have been caused by the federal reserve and our government spending. Remember, you can not bond or borrow your way to prosperity. The State Of Vermont is allowing bonding debt in many towns in Vermont. The cut of federal funds and grants will cause a debt bond default.

    • Richard, I fully agree with you. Musk has vowed to reduce federal government in size and $2 Trillion.

In 2017, 18 and 19 Trump zeroed LIHEAP budget.
