As part of the ongoing investigation into a reported shooting on Sunday in Berkshire, Vermont State Police on Wednesday cited a resident of the home where the incident occurred for cocaine possession.
During a court-ordered search of the property on Vermont Route 118, investigators located a quantity of cocaine. Shannon Lontine, 51, was cited to appear in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in St. Albans at 8:30 a.m. on August 12.
Authorities continue to urge anyone with relevant information to contact the St. Albans barracks at 802-524-5993.
Waterbury woman cited for multi-year embezzlement scheme
In an unrelated case, troopers cited Leighann Ravelin, 44, of Waterbury for embezzling from a local business over a four-year period.
On July 29, 2024, Tyler Fisk, 41, of Duxbury, owner of Go Time Property Management, reported suspicious financial activity to Vermont State Police. Investigators later determined that Ravelin had acquired a loan intended for Fisk’s business and diverted the funds to personal accounts from the end of 2020 through 2024. She also allegedly opened a credit card in Fisk’s name without authorization.
On June 24, 2025, Ravelin was cited to appear in Washington County Superior Court on July 17 at 8:30 a.m.
