State Police have released a photo of the man who they say is the chief suspect in the September 1 theft of a bake sale donation jar from a southern Vermont welcome center.
State troopers are investigating the theft of a donation jar from a bake sale being held at the Guilford (Windham County) Welcome Center.
The theft took place at 2:40 PM. The bake sale was organized by Brattleboro Time Trade, a local nonprofit organization, to raise funds for their community initiatives. Vermont State Police say the suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately 6’ tall, slim build wearing a blue baseball cap. The suspect allegedly fled the scene on foot to a dark colored sedan that was parked on Broad Brook Road in Guilford.
If anyone can identify the individual attached photograph, please contact Trooper Marie Beland at (802)722-4600 x3 or Marie.Beland@vermont.gov; Tips may be submitted anonymously by texting keyword VTIPS to 274637 (CRIMES). Tips may also be submitted online by using the form available at this link.

What a low-life “POS”, another fine citizen roaming the streets that hopefully will be sitting behind bars………………. someone knows this POS, come forward !!
Not condoning the actions of the petty larceny, however, I do ask if the State Police investigate the thieves hiding in plain sight – better known as elected officials and their co-conspirators. Low hanging fruit is one thing, I guess the highest rotten fruit at the top is entirely another matter. I suppose the order is best leave them alone so they can continue dragging us all into collapse. Carry on!
I believe during the lockdown and the push for everyone to get the Covid Kill Shot, all law enforcement in Vermont played along with the over throw of the Vermont constitution. This shows that Vermont is run by a pack of crooks at the highest level of Vermont government.
Mark Levine? Maybe? Maybe not.
