Top Democratic donors creating political fund for possible Biden replacement – report | 4 July 2024 | A group of top Democratic donors and strategists is pooling resources into a new political action committee to help fund an alternative candidate to Joe Biden should he withdraw from the presidential race, according to a report from the New York Times. The fund, coined the Next Generation PAC, is aiming to raise as much as 100 million to help support a candidate who replaces Biden at the top of the ticket, according to the outlet. If Biden doesn’t drop out of the race, the m-ney would then be used to fund down-ballot candidates. The group has not yet filed federal paperwork, but PAC officials have reportedly told donors it hopes to raise between 50 million and 100 million. People connected to the Biden campaign have heard of the possible stealth project and have attempted to convince those involved not to join, according to the outlet.

Worst gaffe yet? Joe Biden describes himself as a black woman during radio interview | 4 July 2024 | Joe Biden described himself as a black woman during a radio interview flub, as calls mount for the 81-year-old president to drop his re-[s]election bid. The gaffe-prone president stumbled over his words during Thursday’s interview with Philadelphia’s WURD, seemingly mixing himself up with his Vice President Kamala Harris. “By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look…we’re the United States of America.” Biden appeared to be highlighting his appointment of Kamala Harris as the United States first black female vice president. Confusingly, he himself was previously vice president, which is likely what he was referring to in “to serve with a black president.”

During the same gathering, the outlet reported, Biden responded to a question from Hawaii Gov. Josh Green about his health by saying while his health was fine, the problem was “just my brain,” an apparent attempt at humor that went unrecognized by at least one state leader in the room.

He left Camp David on the morning of June 27 to travel to Atlanta for the debate. He returned from a trip to Italy for the Group of Seven summit on June 14, six days before heading to Camp David. Israel turbocharges West Bank settlement expansion with largest land grab in decades | 3 July 2024 | Israel has approved the largest seizure of land in the occupied West Bank in over three decades, a settlement tracking group said Wednesday, a move that is likely to worsen already soaring tensions linked to the war in Gaza. Israel’s aggressive expansion in the West Bank reflects the settler community’s strong influence in the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the most religious and nationalist in the country’s history. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a settler himself, has turbocharged the policy of expansion, seizing new authorities over settlement development and saying he aims to solidify Israel’s hold on the territory and prevent the creation of a Palestinian state. Authorities recently approved the appropriation of 12.7 square kilometers (nearly 5 square miles) of land in the Jordan Valley, according to a copy of the order obtained by The Associated Press.

We will absolutely appeal.” Both Leahy and SNDM were plaintiffs in the Tennessee lawsuit which sought to compel the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) to release Hale’s full writings, including those sometimes called a manifesto.

Jack Smith’s office has only produced a handful of August 2022 FBI emails related to the Mar-a-Lago raid. Trump’s attorneys believe the DOJ and FBI are concealing communications.
