Breaking: RFK Jr. Will Seek Libertarian Party Presidential Nomination –By Lori Price, www.legitgov.org. | 9 April 2024 | CLG News has learned and confirmed with several reputable sources within the Libertarian Party (LP) that Robert Kennedy, Jr., will or has already made a sizable donation to the LP. Further, sources confirm that he will, at least passively, seek the Libertarian Party nomination to be its candidate for President of the United States. Given the enormous hurdles he faces for ballot access and the costs of obtaining it in 50 states, RFK Jr. is no doubt attempting to win the Libertarian Party nomination for the ballot access that the LP has secured in at least 48 states. Money From Ukraine’s Burisma Used for Terrorist Attacks in Russia – Moscow | 9 April 2024 | The Russian Investigative Committee announced on Tuesday that it has opened a criminal case against high-ranking officials from the U.S. and other NATO countries for financing terrorism following the deadly Crocus City Hall attack in Moscow. “It has been established that the funds received through commercial organizations, in particular the Burisma Holdings oil and gas company that is operating in Ukraine, have been used over the past few years to carry out terrorist acts in Russia, as well as abroad, in order to eliminate prominent political and public figures and cause economic damage,” the committee declared. Moreover, the committee is investigating the sources and transfer of several million dollars as part of the opened criminal case, the statement read… The Ukrainian-based oil company mentioned by the Russian Investigative Committee is also known for its participation in the scandal around U.S. President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Ukrainian NATO membership ‘unacceptable’ – Moscow | 9 April 2024 | Ukrainian accession to NATO would pose a threat to Russia’s national security and is fundamentally unacceptable, Moscow’s ambassador to the U.S., Anatoly Antonov, has said. The Russian envoy was responding to comments by U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, who claimed at a press briefing on Monday that Kiev could become a member of the military bloc once the conflict with Moscow has ended. “Ukraine’s accession to NATO is unacceptable to us under any circumstances,” Antonov stated on Tuesday. “This is a threat to Russia’s national security.” “Only politicians ignorant of the fundamental interests of the Russian Federation can expect that we could accept Kiev’s entry into a bloc which is hostile to us,” he added. Antonov further accused Washington of ignoring Moscow’s core interests and refusing to accept Russia’s “categorical opposition” to Kiev’s potential NATO membership.

37% of NATO members don’t pay their way – Washington –A decade since the 2% of GDP goal was set, a third of the bloc isn’t there yet | 8 April 2024 | Twelve NATO countries are yet to meet the pledge to spend 2% of their GDP on defense, the American ambassador to the alliance, Julianne Smith, said on Monday. The U.S.-led bloc set the two-percent goal in 2014, after the Western-backed coup in Kiev touched off the Donbass conflict. All members were supposed to make the “burden-sharing” benchmark within a decade. “Right now we have 20 allies that are meeting the 2% pledge – 20 allies,” Smith said in a speech at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. “That is a significant increase over a decade. Of course we want it to be all 32 and we’re going to keep pushing until we get there.”

‘Senate can’t eat until Gaza eats!’ – Demonstrators shut down Senate cafeteria, around 50 arrested | 9 April 2024 | More than 50 people were arrested Tuesday after the Senate cafeteria was shut down by anti-Israel protesters chanting, “Senate can’t eat until Gaza eats!” The U.S. Capitol Police confirmed to Fox News that those arrested inside the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C., were charged with Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding. “It is illegal to demonstrate inside any of the Congressional Buildings,” Capitol Police said in a statement. A video obtained by Fox News shows demonstrators walking through the hallways of the building, raising their hands and saying “Children are starving in Gaza” and “People are dying in Gaza.” One woman was wearing a shirt that read “Biden’s legacy = Genocide.”

Four matches this week, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, the Civitas Metropolitano in Madrid, the Emirates Stadium in London, and the Parc des Princes Paris, are to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings this week.

Joe Biden’s ‘secret’ flights of 33,000 migrants to New York passes buck to city taxpayers | 8 April 2024 | A new report from me [Todd Bensman] and my organization, the Center for Immigration Studies, finds that the Department of Homeland Security secretly has okayed the flights of some 33,000 illegal immigrants directly to the New York region from foreign airports. That’s 22% of the city’s migrant influx. One of Biden’s flying immigrants was a Haitian man, Pierre Lucard Emile, who was recently accused of raping a developmentally disabled teen girl. The administration reportedly authorized him to fly directly from Haiti into John F. Kennedy International Airport as part of the immigrant flights program. DHS reports that it has approved the flights of more than 386,000 immigrants directly from foreign airports into the U.S. since launching the program without Congressional authorization in January 2023. The flights were intended mainly for Cuban, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans but since expanded to five other nationalities.

January 6 Defendants Sue Capitol Police Officers for ‘Millions’ – Report | 9 April 2024 | A group of January 6 defendants has reportedly filed a class action lawsuit against 21 Capitol Police officers and others for millions of dollars in damages. Defendant Jake Lang told Real America’s Voice on Friday that the group of more than 78 defendants filed the lawsuit, according to Newsweek. He told the show, “I got shot in the foot with a rubber bullet, other people were bludgeoned nearly to death, hit with chemical spray and had long-lasting lung effects and so… we are now serving 21 defendants… Capitol Police officers, Capitol Police officials.” Lang turned 29 on April 7 — his fourth birthday behind bars without a trial.

Former FBI/current CIA employee says approximately 20 undercover agents in January 6 crowd –O’Blennis said the FBI will often “nudge” people, get “close to entrapment,” to create arrestable offenses. | 9 April 2024 | An undercover video from Sound Investigations reveals former FBI employee and current contracting CIA officer Gavin O’Blennis claiming that there were at least 20 FBI agents in the January 6, 2021, crowd. O’Blennis also revealed that the agency was behind the lawsuit brought by Sandy Hook families against Alex Jones. In the end, he said, the agency got what it wanted: to “take all his money.” The new report from Sound Investigations with O’Blennis was recorded on March 15, 22, and 28. O’Blennis told the undercover journalist that he had been an employee with the FBI and that he is a contracting officer for the CIA. His LinkedIn profile says he has been with DHS since December 2022.

Justice Cynthia Kern’s ruling clearing the way for jury selection to begin next week in the criminal trial, according to The Associated Press. Trump’s legal team is trying to postpone its client’s trial until after the November presidential election, in which Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee. Trump’s lawyers had wanted the trial delayed until a full panel of appellate court judges could hear arguments on lifting or modifying the gag order that bans their client from making public statements about jurors, witnesses and others connected to the hush-m-ney case, the wire service also reports.

Lopez Obrador’s government has obligated the country’s Treasury to give them food and care for them for the rest of their lives, even after the leader leaves office in October. “The cats are now a symbol of the National Palace. Just as we understand this world, I wouldn’t understand the National Palace without the presence of these cats,” said Adriana Castillo Román, general director of the National Palace and Cultural Heritage Conservancy. “We have to make sure the cats are taken care of.”
