Putin Threatens Nuclear Retaliation for Long-Range Missile Plans | 25 Aug 2024 | Russia should update its nuclear doctrine to clearly define circumstances that could prompt Moscow to launch a nuclear strike, President Vladimir Putin told a meeting of the national security council on Wednesday. He also suggested an expanded list of threats that would include “reliable information” of a major airstrike being launched against Russia. The list of criteria that would justify Russia’s use of its nuclear deterrent should be expanded in the updated version of the doctrine, Putin told the meeting. “Aggression against Russia by any non-nuclear state…supported by a nuclear power should be treated as their joint attack,” the president said. Moscow would also “consider” resorting to a nuclear response if it gets “reliable information” about a “massive” missile or air strike launched by another state against Russia, or its closest ally, Belarus, according to Putin. The weapons used in an enemy’s potential strike could include anything from ballistic or cruise missiles to strategic aircraft and drones, he stated.

Lieutenant-General Alexander Sollfrank, the head of NATO’s logistics command, confirmed this week the security bloc is working to ensure it has the operational capability to extract large numbers of wounded troops from the front lines. The German general warned that, unlike allies’ experience in Afghanistan and Iraq, an all-out war with Russia would likely see NATO incur heavy losses across a huge battlefield. What’s more, Russia’s air force and its vaunted rocket and missile stockpiles mean that medical evacuations via aircraft would be too risky — a factor that could force NATO’s troops to operate “hospital trains” to extract the wounded en masse… This year, the security bloc launched its greatest campaign of military drills since the Cold War. This handout to Ukraine will be part of a larger 8 billion aid plan, which includes 2.4 billion under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, allowing Biden’s regime to purchase more weapons from defense contractors for Ukraine, rather than pulling from already depleted U.S. reserves.

Vance — as being “too radical” on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and suggested that Donald Trump himself “doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how.” Vance has argued that the conflict is not of major importance to U.S. interests and that Kiev will have to compromise with Russia to resolve the hostilities. Trump has repeatedly claimed he could end the Ukraine conflict within 24 hours if he returns to the White House. “So a foreign leader, who has received billions of d-llars in funding from American taxpayers, comes to our country and has the nerve to attack the GOP ticket for President? And he does this right after a pro-Ukraine zealot tried to assassinate my father? Disgraceful!” Trump Jr. wrote in a post on X.

Lead Secret Service agent at Trump’s Butler rally knew of ‘credible intelligence’ of threat but didn’t raise alarm, Senate report finds | 25 Sept 2024 | The Secret Service agent in charge of Donald Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pa., was made aware of “credible intelligence” of a threat against the former president — but didn’t pass it along to her supervisor or others planning security for the event, a Senate report on the assassination attempt found. The 94-page report on the shooting, released Wednesday by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, determined that the Secret Service’s lead advance agent for the Trump rally wrote in a security planning document that there was “no adverse intelligence” concerning the 45th president’s visit to Butler — despite being notified of an unspecified threat. Furthermore, the lead agent told Senate investigators that she notified the special agent in charge (SAIC) of the Secret Service’s Pittsburgh field office about the “credible intelligence” before the rally — but he claims that never happened.

Whistleblower: Secret Service told Trump campaign it could not secure potential rally in Wisconsin | 24 Sept 2024 | The Secret Service allegedly told former President Donald Trump’s team that it did not have sufficient assets to secure a rally the campaign wanted to hold in Wisconsin, according to a new whistleblower account. A person with direct knowledge of the exchange provided the whistleblower’s account to Sen. Josh Hawley’s office. In a letter to Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe, the Missouri Republican asked whether such a denial ever occurred. The whistleblower alleged that the Secret Service “effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin,” Mr. Hawley wrote. He did not share any details on the timing or location of the planned event.”Other whistleblowers with knowledge of Secret Service planning protocols allege that failure to provide protection for a major public event is highly unusual and that a sitting president would never be denied resources in this way,” Mr. Hawley said.  

Idaho man charged with threatening to kill Trump in multiple phone calls made to Mar-a-Lago just weeks before Ryan Routh assassination attempt | 24 Sept 2024 | A man from Sandpoint, Idaho, was charged in federal court with threatening to kill Donald Trump. In at least nine calls made to Trump’s Florida residence at his Mar-a-Lago, Warren Jones Crazybull, 64, said he was going to kill the former president. The calls were made on July 31 — just weeks after the assassination attempt on Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, where he was shot in the right ear. In one call, according to a criminal complaint and affidavit first reported on Monday, Crazybull threatened to “find Trump” and said he was “coming down to Bedminster tomorrow.” Crazybull was tracked to Montana and arrested August 1 for the calls. He was indicted in Idaho federal court on August 20.  

DOJ Publishes Letter by Alleged Attempted Trump Assassin Despite FBI Memo Policy Against Release of ‘Legacy Tokens’ | 23 Sept 2024 | A note purportedly written by Ryan Wesley Routh, who is accused of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump on September 15, was released on Monday by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in a public court filing. According to the court filing, Routh asked an associate to keep a box of his belongings. After the attack, the associate opened the box and discovered the letter, wherein prosecutors claim Routh confirmed his intent to assassinate Trump and offered a 150,000 bounty should someone prove successful. The letter was released publicly in this manner despite the FBI, which is the primary investigative branch of the DOJ, previously “strongly” advising Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) against the release of “legacy tokens” left by Covenant School killer Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who was a biological woman but identified as a transgender man during the attack where she claimed the lives of six. The Tennessee Star obtained a portion of MNPD documents related to the Covenant investigation earlier this year, including a May 11, 2023, FBI memo to MNPD that referenced “legacy tokens” and warned their release could lead to unintended consequences.

Trump shooting suspect Ryan Wesley Routh is charged with attempted assassination | 24 Sept 2024 | The man accused of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump on his Florida golf course earlier this month has been indicted on federal charges. Ryan Routh, 58, was hit with the charge in federal court Tuesday morning, a little over a week removed from the failed assassination on the prominent political candidate. He had already been facing two gun-related charges after cops said he pointed a rifle through a fence at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, where he is now being tried. The indictment came during the suspect’s second day in court, after the Justice Department asked a grand jury on Monday to approve the more serious attempted assassination charge, which carries a max sentence of life in prison. Routh previously faced 20 years, after staking out the aspiring two-term president for 12 hours, feds said.

Suspect in Second Trump Assassination Attempt Wrote Note Months Prior Saying He Wanted to Kill Him | 23 Sept 2024 | Ryan Routh, the suspect accused of attempting to assassinate former President Trump in Florida, apparently wrote a note months prior to the incident indicating he intended to kill Trump, according to a court filing released on Monday. “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer 150,000 to whomever can complete the job,” said the handwritten letter, which federal prosecutors revealed in a filing in support of the pretrial detention of Routh on Monday. According to the filing, law enforcement was contacted on September 18, 2024, by a civilian witness who stated that Routh had “dropped off a box at his residence several months prior” and after learning of the September 15 assassination attempt, the witness decided to open the box.

Florida’s Surgeon General Opposes Federal Health Agencies COVID Guidelines | 24 Sept 2024 | Florida’s Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, MD, PHD and Florida Health Department officials are basing opposition to recent COVID booster shot use recommendations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the fact that there are high individual and community immunity levels from previous SARS-CoV-2 infections and lack of evidence for COVID shot safety based on currently available data. The Florida Health Department officials are encouraging medical providers and patients to be aware that mRNA COVID shots present a risk of myocarditis (heart inflammation) and other cardiovascular conditions in healthy individuals… In addition, they warn that there is unknown risk of potential adverse reactions with each additional dose of the mRNA COVID shot.

New York resident dies from mosquito-borne disease as experts warn of widening risk | 25 Sept 2024 | New York has reported the state’s first death from Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE), a disease that spreads through bites from mosquitoes. The patient was the first person to contract EEE in New York since 2015, according to a press release issued by the state on Monday. State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald has declared EEE an imminent threat to public health, which will make more resources available for prevention measures, such as spraying to reduce mosquitoes. The state has announced plans to expand access to insect repellent in parks and campgrounds, and is encouraging New York residents to take steps to protect against mosquito-borne illness.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams indicted on 5 federal public corruption charges, including bribery and wire fraud | 26 Sept 2024 | New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on five federal charges related to bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy and soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals, according to a 57-page indictment unsealed Thursday morning. The indictment alleges illegal actions stretching back to 2014, from when he was Brooklyn Borough president. “For nearly a decade, Adams sought and accepted improper valuable benefits…and at least one Turkish government official seeking to gain influence over him,” the indictment reads. Specifically, Adams received top-notch travel and other benefits from a Turkish official and later in exchange pressured the NYC Fire Department to open a Turkish consular building without a fire inspection, the indictment says. The mayor “engaged in a long-running conspiracy,” Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said Thursday.

Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said. “I always knew that if I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target — and a target I became,” Adams said in a statement to The Post.

Biden FCC fast-tracks Soros takeover of conservative radio in Pennsylvania | 25 Sept 2024 | In an alarming move, the Federal Communications Commission voted this week to approve Audacy’s proposed reorganization — which would place the second largest radio station network in the clutches of George Soros. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, who is outspoken on the issue, told Glenn Beck in a recent interview that the FCC commission skipped a process that could take six months in order to quickly approve Soros’s ownership. This is unusual, in part because Soros has more than 25% foreign investors in the stake and has petitioned the Biden administration to fast-track his offer despite an assessment to its national risk securities.

Judge will approve auction of Alex Jones’s Infowars to pay Sandy Hook families | 24 Sept 2024 | This fall, Alex Jones’ Infowars media platform and its assets will be auctioned off to help pay over 1 billion he owes to the families of victims from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. A federal judge is expected to approve the order, per The Associated Press. Jones promises to keep doing his talk shows through other platforms, like a new website or his personal social media. He has also hinted that his supporters might buy Infowars’ assets, allowing him to keep hosting his show as an employee under the Infowars brand in Austin, Texas. The order Judge Lopez plans to approve would auction off Infowars’ intellectual property…starting on Nov. 13. However, Jones’s personal social media accounts, including his X account with 2.8 million followers, will not be part of the auction.

Rep. Tom Tiffany Reveals Duplicate Absentee Ballots Have ‘No Barcode’ | 25 Sept 2024 | Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) revealed that thousands of duplicate absentee ballots contained “no barcode” on them after officials in Madison City said the duplicate ballots had the barcode. In a post on X, Tiffany wrote that officials in the Madison Clerk’s Office had stated that because the duplicate ballots had identical barcodes, they would not be allowed to be submitted. Tiffany’s post came a day after he called for an “investigation” after Madison officials revealed that 2,215 duplicate ballots had been sent out to roughly 10 wards. “DEVELOPING,” Tiffany wrote. “Although the Madison Clerk’s Office claims, ‘The voting system does not allow a ballot with the same barcode to be submitted,’ my office has proof that there is no barcode on the actual ballots.”

Iconic U.S. manufacturer sent severe warning as it threatens to move production to Mexico after 187 years | 24 Sept 2024 | Donald Trump says he will slap a 200 percent tariff on John Deere’s imports into the United States if the company goes ahead with plans to move production to Mexico. So far in 2024, John Deere has laid off around 1,830 workers — at the same time it is moving more of its tractor and farming gear manufacturing to Mexico. The layoffs are across several Iowa sites — Ankeny, Dubuque, Ottumwa, Urbandale, Waterloo — plus Davenport and East Moline in Illinois, as well as a research center in Urbandale. In many instances, production for which these U.S. workers were responsible is being shifted to new locations in Mexico. It is a decision that upset workers and some political leaders.
