Israeli intelligence was warned about Hamas attack – Financial Times –A detailed report about a possible imminent attack ended up being dismissed as an “imaginary scenario” | 24 Nov 2023 | Israeli intelligence received a detailed report on an impending assault by Hamas shortly before the Palestinian militant group’s actual attack on October 7, the Financial Times reported on Friday, citing persons familiar with the matter. The warning, compiled by border sentries – “many of them female soldiers,” the FT was told – arrived through secure communication lines to the highest-ranking intelligence officer in the southern command a few weeks before the attack, sources said, without identifying the senior security official. The report contained “specific warnings” on the looming assault, namely Hamas’ plans to breach the border at multiple points, enter Israeli territory and seize local settlements, a person with direct knowledge of its contents told FT. The assessment was based on intelligence that included videos of Hamas militants in training. The high-ranking intelligence officer who received the report, however, dismissed the assessment as an “imaginary scenario” and no action was taken.

Israel receives list of hostages to be released Saturday by Hamas | 25 Nov 2023 | Israel has received a list of hostages set to be freed from Gaza on Saturday by Palestinian militant group Hamas, officials said, following the release of 24 hostages during the first day of a planned four-day truce on Friday. Israeli security officials were reviewing the list, said a statement from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose government promised to work toward the release of all hostages taken by Hamas in an attack on Israel on Oct. 7. The released hostages, including Israeli women and children and Thai farm workers, were transferred out of Gaza and handed over to Egyptian authorities at the Rafah border crossing, accompanied by eight staff members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in a four-car convoy, the ICRC said. They were then taken to Israel for medical checks and reunions with relatives.
Israeli police smash journalist’s camera –Ankara has condemned the “ugly attack” on a Turkish camera crew working in East Jerusalem | 18 Nov 2023 | Reporters with a Turkish broadcaster have accused Israeli police of assaulting a member of their team, with footage of the incident appearing to show an officer smashing a journalist’s camera with the barrel of his rifle. Working for Türkiye’s TRT news outlet, the camera crew was reporting from East Jerusalem’s Old City, where Israeli security forces clashed with Palestinians near Al Aqsa Mosque on Friday. “The Israeli police physically interfered with the TRT news team, breaking their camera with the barrel of a gun as they were working to cover events in the volatile region,” TRT reported, adding that the team was “reporting on Israeli forces blocking and using force against Palestinians heading to Al Aqsa Mosque” at the time.
A List of Some People in Canada Fired for Pro-Palestine Views –In recent weeks, many people in Canada have been investigated, suspended and/or fired by their employer for posting about Palestine. | 10 Nov 2023 | In recent weeks, many people within Canada have been investigated, suspended and/or fired by their employer for expressing pro-Palestine views on social media and elsewhere. The Maple intends to document and share as many examples of such cases — where the person was disciplined for posts or comments made on or after October 7 — as possible. To start, I’ve compiled particularly well known incidents that have already been made public. Based on preliminary tips we’ve received from human rights organizations and lawyers, we know the cases below are just a fraction of the overall incidents. For example, here’s how an open letter from legal organizations described the state of retaliation in that industry: “Lawyers are openly advocating on social media to blacklist law students and lawyers who have voiced support for Palestine; Lawyers are contacting the employers of lawyers and encouraging they be fired for their pro-Palestinian advocacy. Law firms (many of which issued unprecedented, political statements in support of Israel) are rescinding interview offers to students who sign open letters condemning Israel. Law schools are threatening those students with expulsion.”

Disabled people were secretly given Do Not Resuscitate orders, Scottish Covid-19 inquiry hears –Inquiry told GP receptionists even called those with disabilities to try and get them to sign up to the orders | 23 Nov 2023 | Disabled Scots felt like their lives were “not worth saving” during the pandemic after Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders were secretly imposed on many of them, an inquiry has heard. As Covid began to spread, GP receptionists even called up those with disabilities to try to persuade them to sign up to the orders, which inform doctors that they do not want their lives saved in an emergency. Glasgow Disability Alliance chief executive Tressa Burke also told the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry how some of her members were left so isolated during lockdowns they feared their bodies would not be discovered if they died at home. Lord Brailsford’s inquiry in Edinburgh is specifically probing the use of DNRs as part of its terms of reference.
Doctor’s suspension after questioning the severity of Covid 19 did not breach his Article 10 rights | 20 Nov 2023 | This was an appeal by a doctor against a decision of the medical practitioners’ tribunal that he was guilty of misconduct. He also appealed against the tribunal’s decision to suspend his registration for six months… The GMC considered that A was guilty of misconduct and demonstrated impairment of his fitness to practise. It referred to the GMC’s “Good Medical Practice” and its guidance on “Doctors’ use of social media” and concluded that immediate suspension of D’s registration was appropriate. Before the Tribunal, the GMC argued that A had used his position as a doctor in the UK to promote his opinions… The medical practitioners’ tribunal had not erred in finding that a doctor’s use of his position to promote his negative opinions on the existence and credibility of the COVID-19 disease constituted misconduct and demonstrated impairment of his fitness to practise.

Biden invokes wartime powers to fund electric heaters as he cracks down on gas appliances –Under the actions announced Friday, the DOE will send millions of dollars to companies like Copeland, Honeywell International, Mitsubishi Electric and York International Corporation, all of which are billion-dollar multinational corporations. | 17 Nov 2023 | Joe Biden invoked a Cold War-era law in a surprising move Friday to pour taxpayer funds into domestic manufacturing of electric heat pumps, an alternative to gas-powered residential furnaces. In a joint announcement with the White House, the Department of Energy (DOE) said the federal government would award a “historic” $169 million for nine projects across 15 sites nationwide in an effort to accelerate electric heat pump manufacturing. The significant level of funding was made possible after Biden utilized the 1950 Defense Production Act (DPA) to increase domestic production of green energy technologies. “This is absolutely shameful corporate welfare. But we’re to believe that, because it’s for the sake of climate change, all is well. I think that’s ridiculous,” Ben Lieberman, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, told Fox News Digital in an interview. “Of all the Biden administration’s claimed climate emergency declarations, this may be the craziest of them all,” Lieberman continued.

“Israeli intelligence received a detailed report on an impending assault by Hamas.”
Seems to me to be similar to the warnings about potential terrorists entering the U.S. illegally, especially at the Southern Border…..that are being ignored. How long will it be before another 9/11?
