Hawaiians urged to evacuate as millions under tsunami threat after 8.7 earthquake strikes off coast of Russia –World’s biggest earthquake in 14 years sparks Pacific-wide tsunami fears | 29 July 2025 | Residents in Hawaii are being urged to evacuate from coastal areas, as millions of Americans remain under threat of a tsunami following a massive 8.7 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Russia. Preliminary data from the U.S. Geological Survey shows the quake reached a magnitude of 8.7 and struck about 84 miles east-southeast of Kamchatska at around 7.24pm EST. It has already caused a tsunami of up to 13 feet to strike the coastal area, and tsunami warnings are now in effect for parts of Alaska’s Aleutian Island and Hawaii while a tsunami watch has been expanded to cover the entire West Coast of the United States. Meteorologist Matthew Cappucci also urged Americans to “prepare to evacuate vertically if warnings are issued.”
Tsunami hits Russia’s Kuril Islands | 30 July 2025 | A tsunami wave struck the northern Kuril Islands early Wednesday following a powerful earthquake in the Pacific Ocean, prompting the evacuation of residents from the coastal town of Severo-Kurilsk, regional officials have confirmed. The first wave hit the shoreline of Severo-Kurilsk shortly after a magnitude 7.9 quake was registered near the Kamchatka Peninsula, according to Sakhalin Region Governor Valery Limarenko. Authorities ordered an evacuation of the town’s population, estimated at just over 2,500, to elevated areas away from the coast.
Trump reduces Russia-Ukraine ‘deadline’ to 10-12 days | 28 July 2025 | U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply reduced the time frame he set for Russia and Ukraine to agree on a ceasefire, warning that Moscow now has just 10 to 12 days to reach a deal or face sweeping new sanctions. “I’m going to set a new deadline…about 10 or 12 days from today. There’s no reason to wait. I wanted to be generous, but we’re just not seeing any progress,” Trump told reporters on Monday in Scotland. He was sitting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The U.S. president had originally given the two sides 50 days to negotiate an end to the conflict, threatening to impose 100% tariffs on Russian imports and secondary sanctions on countries and companies that continue to trade with Russia. That initial deadline was due to expire in early September. [Corrupt Zelensky is – and has always been – the problem – not Putin.]
Blackstone identifies employee killed in NYC shooting | 29 July 2025 | Financial firm Blackstone said it has lost “one of our most beloved colleagues” in Monday’s shooting at an office building in New York City. Blackstone announced the death in a memo to staff, and later identified the victim as Wesley LePatner in a subsequent statement. Three other people were killed during the attack, including a New York Police Department officer. LePatner served as Global Head of Core+ Real Estate and the Chief Executive Officer of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), according to Blackstone’s website. “We are heartbroken to share that our colleague, Wesley LePatner, was among those who lost their lives in the tragic incident at 345 Park Avenue. Words cannot express the devastation we feel. Wesley was a beloved member of the Blackstone family and will be sorely missed,” Blackstone wrote in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital.
NYC shooting at Blackstone building: Gunman Shane Tamura worked as security guard at Las Vegas casino, source says | 28 July 2025 | A police officer and at least four other people were shot and killed and several others injured by a crazed gunman who stormed a swanky Midtown skyscraper early Monday evening — before turning the gun on himself, sources said. The 27-year-old man, identified by sources as Shane Tamura, barged into the 44-story building, which houses Blackstone and the NFL headquarters, armed with a rifle and opened fire at around 6:30 p.m. during the evening rush, law enforcement sources told The Post. CNN is receiving backlash online for reporting that Park Avenue shooter Shane Tamura was “possibly white” while viewing the initial security footage released immediately after the shooting. CNN host Erin Burnett said that police knew what the gunman looked like, “sunglasses, mustache, male, possibly white” during the broadcast shortly after the shooting. The chilling image of Tamura with an AR-15 assault rifle was published shortly after the shooting was reported. It clearly shows a man with dark hair and a dark complexion.
Vance turns tables on media asking if Trump is covering for ‘ped0philes,’ says press never asked prior admins –Vance questions why media didn’t press Obama and Bush administrations about the sex trafficking case | 29 July 2025 | Vice President JD Vance trashed the media on Monday for not asking prior presidential administrations why they weren’t being transparent with the Jeffrey Epstein case. During an address in Canton, Ohio, touting President Donald Trump’s economic agenda, Vance replied to a question about whether Republicans were “protecting ped0philes” with how Trump has handled the Jeffrey Epstein case. Vance said Trump has been the most transparent president on the Epstein topic and slammed the mainstream media for only now applying new scrutiny to the story with the president in office. “For four years under Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, the media didn’t give a d-mn about the Epstein files or about the Epstein case,” he said.
Judge Indira Talwani Expands Order, Mandates Medicaid Funding for All Planned Parenthood Clinics | 28 July 2025 | A federal judge on Monday completely blocked a provision of the Big, Beautiful Bill defunding abortion giant Planned Parenthood of taxpayer d-llars through Medicaid. U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, a President Obama appointee, granted a preliminary injunction, blocking the provision and essentially mandating Medicaid funding for all Planned Parenthood clinics as litigation continues. Talwani released the expanded order after issuing an order last week only partially blocking the provision for a subset of clinics that did not independently meet the provision’s “prohibited entity” definition: [Planned Parenthood Federation] members that do not provide abortions because of state law or those who received less than 800,000 in Medicaid reimbursements in 2023.

Why was this tacked on to the end of the Russia-Ukraine article in bold print??[Corrupt Zelensky is – and has always been – the problem – not Putin.] It did not appear anywhere within the article.
How in the world do judges get away with contravening the authority of the President of the United States. Defunding PP is a function of the legislative and executive branches of our government, is it not? How in the world does the judicial branch have the power to do this? What am I missing?
