Only one person so far – a farmer in Texas – has tested positive for H5N1 virus this outbreak, but the CDC fears many more could be infected and not coming forward. But he emphasized the risk of it spreading to people was still low, with only one person infected so far – a farm worker in Texas in March. “This virus, like all viruses, is mutating,” he told the policymakers. “We need to continue to prepare for the possibility that it might jump to humans. [The] real worry is that it will jump to the human lungs where, when that has happened in other parts of the world… the mortality rate has been 25 percent.”

Fauci Ignored Early Reports of Vaccine Injuries, Emails Reveal | 7 May 2024 | Dr. Anthony Fauci knew COVID-19 vaccines were causing serious injuries within days of the vaccines’ rollout in December 2020, according to documents obtained by Children’s Health Defense (CHD). However, he didn’t respond to emails from people who described their injuries and asked for help – and he didn’t warn the public. The 300-page tranche of documents released on April 21 relates to correspondence between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and people who contacted the agency about adverse events they experienced after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. CHD requested the documents via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in November 2022. On April 12, 2023, CHD sued the NIH to obtain the records after the NIH failed to respond to the FOIA request. As part of an October 2023 settlement, the NIH agreed to produce up to 7,500 pages of documents at a rate of 300 per month. This month’s documents reveal that at least one vaccine-injured individual attempted to contact Fauci directly by email as early as Dec. 27, 2020.

Fulton County 2020 election problems, now confirmed, challenge media fact-checkers | 10 May 2024 | Media fact-checks have asserted that the 2020 presidential election in Georgia didn’t have serious irregularities. The media repeatedly “fact-checked” these irregularities, despite confirmation of the issues by election officials. Henry Cuellar over his criticism of President Biden’s handling of the ongoing border crisis. “Biden just Indicted Henry Cuellar because the Respected Democrat Congressman wouldn’t play Crooked Joe’s Open Border game,” Trump, 77, asserted on Truth Social Sunday night. “He was for Border Control, so they said, ‘Let’s use the FBI and DOJ to take him out!’ ‘This is the way they operate,” the former president claimed. “They’re a bunch of D.C. Trump blasts Biden as ‘total moron’ before historic crowd of 100K at NJ rally | 11 May 2024 | Donald Trump recited all his greatest hits at a massive Saturday evening rally in Wildwood, New Jersey — but managed to avoid violating his court-imposed gag order by focusing on Joe Biden, whom he called a “total moron” and blamed for his web of legal troubles. Trump railed about inflation, offshore windmills, electric cars, the press and Chris Christie. But unsurprisingly, it was Biden who drew his most intense vitriol. “You could take the 10 worst presidents in the history of our country, and add them up…and they haven’t done the damage to our country that this total moron has done,” Trump, 77, said to a cheering crowd of tens of thousands. The crowd — which Wildwood officials estimated was between 80,000 and 100,000, a record for a Garden State political rally — cheered wildly throughout the long, but controlled speech.

Teen suspended for using term ‘illegal aliens’ sues his North Carolina high school | 10 May 2024 | A 16-year-old North Carolina student has sued his high school for suspending him after he used the term “illegal aliens” in a question about an assignment. Christian McGhee, who received a three-day suspension for using the phrase last month at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, has accused the school of violating his First Amendment rights in the lawsuit filed in federal court Tuesday. “Aside from the obvious fact that his words had nothing to do with race, his speech was protected under the First Amendment: he asked his teacher a question that was factual and nonthreatening, and officials could not have reasonably forecast that his question would cause substantial School disruption,” the suit said.
