Idaho makes shock move on vaccine mandates in first-of-its-kind bill | 10 April 2025 | Idaho has banned vaccine mandates in schools and businesses in a first-of-its-kind “medical freedom” bill. The “Idaho Medical Freedom Act” bars private businesses, schools and government entities from denying admission or services to a person for not having received a “medical intervention,” including a vaccine, procedure, or medication. It makes Idaho the first state to in the nation to outlaw vaccine mandates in both public and private sectors. The legislation was signed into law last week by Idaho Governor Brad Little, a Republican, and is expected to go into effect July 1. Idaho is also one of three states that have introduced legislation this year to ban mRNA vaccines like the Covid vaccine due to reports of severe side effects.

U.S. blocks G7 condemnation of Russia over Sumy strike – Bloomberg –Moscow has said the missile attack targeted senior Ukrainian and foreign military officers | 15 April 2025 | U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration has reportedly refused to back a G7 statement condemning Russia’s recent missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, according to sources cited by Bloomberg. On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed firing two Iskander-M missiles the day before, targeting a gathering of Ukrainian and Western command staff, killing at least 60 senior servicemen. The Ukrainian authorities, however, have claimed that the Russian missiles struck a military awards ceremony, leaving 35 civilians dead and 129 others injured. Throughout the Ukraine conflict, Moscow has maintained that it never targets civilian infrastructure. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov recently emphasized that Russia only strikes military targets.

Pennsylvania man charged with threatening Trump, ICE agents, other officials | 11 April 2025 | A Pennsylvania man has been federally charged with making threats to assault and assassinate President Donald Trump, other US officials and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, according to the US Department of Justice. Shawn Monper, 32, who was arrested on Wednesday, lives in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the president was shot during a campaign rally last July. The FBI was notified about Monper’s YouTube account, for which he used the name “Mr Satan,” on Tuesday and was able to link the account to his home in Butler. He made several threatening statements between Jan. 15 and April 5, including that he was “going to assassinate” Trump “myself,” “ICE are terrorist people, we need to start killing them,” and “Eventually im going to do a mass shooting.” The FBI investigation also found that Monper got a firearms permit after Trump’s inauguration, which he commented about on his YouTube channel.

Butler man arrested in Butler Township accused of threatening to kill President Trump, ICE agents | 11 April 2025 | A man arrested Wednesday, April 9, in Butler Township, is accused of making online threats against President Donald Trump, as well as agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court. Shawn Monper, 32, of Butler, made threats of violence and assassination against prominent U.S. officials, including Trump and Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk, through comments made on his YouTube account since mid-February, according to the affidavit filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Monper was arrested near the 600 block of Morton Avenue on Wednesday, in an operation led by an FBI SWAT team. …In the first comment, posted on Feb. 17, Monper said, “We need to start killing people, Trump, Elon, all the heads of agencies Trump appointed, and anyone who stands in the way.”

UN chief ‘deeply alarmed’ by Israeli strike on Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza | 15 April 2025 | United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is “deeply alarmed” at Sunday’s strike by Israeli forces on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, his spokesperson said on Tuesday. “Under international humanitarian law, wounded and sick, medical personnel and medical facilities, including hospitals, must be respected and protected,” the U.N. chief’s spokesperson said. He said the attack dealt “a severe blow to an already devastated healthcare system in the Strip”, adding there was strong concern that medical supplies are running low as well as food and water. Two Israeli missiles hit the major Gaza hospital on Sunday, putting the emergency department out of action and damaging other structures, medics said, in a strike that Israel said was aimed at Hamas fighters [allegedly] exploiting the facility.

DHS to screen visa applicants for anti-Semitism activity on social media | 9 April 2025 | The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday said it immediately will begin screening visa applicants’ social media for “antisemitic activity” and will deny violators. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will begin considering antisemitic activity “and the physical harassment of Jewish individuals as grounds for denying immigration benefit requests,” according to a news release. Immediately, this policy will affect those applying for permanent resident “green cards, and student and work visas.” DHS said this policy is consistent with President Donald Trump’s executive orders on Combatting Anti-Semitism, Additional Measures to Combat Anti-Semitism and Protecting the United States from Foreign Terrorists and Other National Security and Public Safety Threats.

Immigration judge rules that anti-Israel protester Mahmoud Khalil can be deported | 11 April 2025 | An immigration judge has ruled that Mahmoud Khalil can be deported from the U.S. due to his involvement in leading last year’s pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University. Judge Jamee Comans ruled in Louisiana on Friday that Khalil, 30, can be deported, saying that the U.S. government met its burden of proof to remove him. “I would like to quote what you said last time that there’s nothing that’s more important to this court than due process rights and fundamental fairness,” Khalil told the court. “Clearly, what we witnessed today, neither of these principles were present today or in this whole process.” Khalil’s team of attorneys have until April 23 to file relief applications.

Judge sides with Trump: anyone in U.S. illegally must register with federal government | 10 April 2025 | The Trump administration was handed another win on Thursday after a federal judge ruled that everyone in the U.S. illegally must register with the federal government and carry documentation. The Associated Press reported that Judge Trevor Neil McFadden, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, sided with the administration after arguing it was enforcing an existing requirement for everyone in the country who is not a citizen of the U.S. Rather than rule on the substance of the Trump administration’s arguments, McFadden ruled that the group pushing to stop the requirement did not have standing to pursue their claims. McFadden’s ruling will go into effect Friday.

House passes requirement to prove U.S. citizenship to vote | 10 April 2025 | The House passed a bill aimed at ensuring only legal U.S. citizens can vote in elections Thursday, making good on a campaign promise President Trump frequently touted during the election. Just four Democrats joined a unanimous Republican caucus in approving the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act — or SAVE Act — which aims to enshrine into law an executive action signed by the president last month requiring proof of citizenship to cast a ballot. Reps. Ed Case of Hawaii, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington were the only Democrats to vote in support of the bill, which passed with a final tally of 220-208.

El Salvador’s Bukele won’t return MS-13 gang member mistakenly deported to his country | 14 April 2025 | President Donald Trump on Monday declined to ask El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to return an El Salvadoran citizen whom authorities mistakenly deported. Bukele, for his part, suggested that to return the man to the U.S. would be to smuggle a terrorist into the United States and that he would not do so. Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a citizen of El Salvador, was deported by the Trump administration by mistake, though the Supreme Court ruled that the administration must facilitate his return. During an Oval Office meeting between Trump and Bukele, neither leader committed to returning the man. “Well, I’m supposed to have suggested that I smuggle a terrorist into the United States, right?” Buekele retorted when pressed on returning the man to the U.S. “Return him to the United States. I smuggle him into the United States. I’m not going to do it. How can I smuggle a terror[ist] to the United States? I don’t have the power to return him to the United States,” Buekele said.

Supreme Court Rules Trump Admin Must Facilitate Release of Deported Man from El Salvador Prison | 10 April 2025 | The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the Trump administration must facilitate the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man in the United States illegally but who was mistakenly deported to a prison in El Salvador. “The court partly granted and partly rejected an emergency request filed by the Justice Department contesting a judge’s order that Kilmar Abrego Garcia be retrieved from a prison in El Salvador where he was sent March 15 along with men alleged to be Venezuelan gang members,” reported NBC News. The decision clarified that the Trump administration does not have to immediately retrieve Garcia from El Salvador, noting that the judge-imposed deadline has already expired while advising it “should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps.”

Fire crews were dispatched to the Democrat’s home in Harrisburg around 2am Sunday, Harrisburg Fire Chief Brian Enterline said. Everyone inside the home was in a separate part of the residence when the flames broke out and were able to evacuate safely. A significant portion of the estate was damaged from the fire, which broke out just hours after Shapiro posted a picture of his family celebrating Passover on Saturday. The investigation into the terrifying blaze remains ongoing, but authorities have confirmed it was caused by an act of arson.

    I’m wondering how much MSM has talked about this, and I’m thinking about how incessantly they talked about J6. It’s scary to me how polarized society is today and what a gross double standard that exists as to acceptable behavior.
