Brian Christie of Essex City, an engineer, former math teacher, and certified fraud examiner, is not satisfied with the current explanation from the Secretary of State’s office regarding a one-day delay in the Statewide Primary Election Canvass.
The Canvass Committee meeting was originally scheduled for Aug. 20, it occurred on Aug. 21. Canvassing in elections means according to State GOP Chair Paul Dame, “We mostly pool together the [primary] results from the individual polling places in order to determine the winner of races that span multiple districts, for example statewide offices like Lt. Governor.”
The office of Secretary Sarah Copeland-Hanzas issued an explanation in a press release earlier this week.
“The reason for the postponement was an issue with the election management system’s report-generation function,” the statement said. “This issue was caught as staff performed checks while printing the official reports. To ensure that all reports precisely match the official return of votes submitted by clerks, the agency will delay the canvass committee and continue to work with its technology vendor and clerks to resolve the issue.”
Copeland-Hanzas’s office said the process is “separate and distinct from the official counting of ballots and the local certification of results by town and city clerks.”
Her office insists that Vermonters should remain confident in their election processes. “I want [to] assure the public that this delay does not impact the 100% confidence we have in the accuracy of the vote totals submitted by Vermont’s town and city clerks,” Hanzas is quoted.
Fraud examiner not impressed
In a message to VDC on Tuesday which was a response to the Secretary’s explanation, Christie said that vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems have been highlighted in multiple reports.
“There is absolutely no confidence in ‘the accuracy of the vote totals submitted by Vermont’s town and city clerks.’” he wrote. “The current reporting ‘issue’ is a mere symptom of a major problem with electronic voting systems, including but not limited to ERIC, Dominion Tabulators, DMV voter registrations, and universal mail-in ballots.”
He points to the 2020 HBO Documentary “Kill Chain: the Cyber War on America’s Elections” which focuses on concerns regarding electronic voting. The trailer can be seen here.
He continues, “As you can see in ‘Kill Chain’, election integrity and concerns about the vulnerability of voting machines is not a partisan issue; contributors to ‘Kill Chain’ included Senator Amy Klobuchar, Democrat, Senator James Lankford, Republican, Senator Ron Wyden, Democrat and Senator Mark Warner, Democrat.”
He points to a recent convention of some of the world’s best hackers in Las Vegas. The hackers put electronic voting machines to the test and the hackers had their way.
He wrote, “Also, at the recent DEF CON Conference, hackers again exposed the vulnerabilities with voting machines that will be used in the upcoming November election. Transparency and accountability are lacking.”
The national news outlet Politico also covered the DEF CON conference. The headline states, “The nation’s best hackers found vulnerabilities in voting machines — but no time to fix them.”
Christie’s letter continues with some proposals that would be needed for electronic voting to work.
“At the least, Forensic Digital Images of each tabulator would be required before and after the election, to prove that no tampering or otherwise unseen intrusions took place. The current system is expensive, vulnerable, impractical, and time-consuming,” he wrote.
Other solutions he proposes largely resemble the policies in France. He notes that in France, mail-in ballots are banned, voters are required to vote in person with a photo ID, and paper ballots must be hand-counted.
“The only way to have 100% confidence in our election systems is to have local control at the Town Clerk, use paper ballots, same-day voting, hand-counting, no same-day registrations, and voter ID,” he wrote. “The burden of proof is on the Secretary of State and it will require more than just words and a press conference to assure the public.”
In January of this year, electronic voting machines were in the headlines after a hacker hacked a Dominion voting machine in front of a federal judge using nothing but a Bic pen. These machines are also used in Vermont and have been in Vermont headlines for ongoing concerns.
A Rasmussen poll from November 2023 revealed that 56% of all Americans suspect there will be cheating in the 2024 presidential election.

Dominion is a China/CCP sourced (through shell companies) machine that can and has been hacked to change votes that serve…the communist agenda. They have their hands in our caca all the way up to their necks, and qui bono? Our country collapses spiritually, economically, and socially and they bail us out with another loan… who owns ya’ baybee?
When our cumuppance comes along… I wonder how many of us will have eyes to see and ears to hear God’s wrath at our hubris, arrogance, greed, lust, corruption and oh… selling our souls for a little convenience and comfort…

None of this was a mystery when our esteemed governor gave his blessing to permanent state-wide mail-out balloting. At best Vermont’s voting can be said to be based upon the honor system. There is no security, no chain of custody, no audit trail and no accountability. For anyone who doubts that, I have a question. What is the budget and how many staff attorneys are dedicated to enforcing election fraud in the state attorneys offices?
Sometimes I hate it when I’m right, or proven to be. This has been, and is, one of my concerns and esp. about the upcoming election. I have a personal reason to be concerned, but best not discuss it publicly, even here.
Impeach the Sec of State for failure to do the duties she was elected for.
She is either not up to the job or is corrupt.
If she is corrupt she needs to be charged ,arrested and imprisoned.
Period.
Let’s remember who put the present Vermont Election System in place. It was the super majority of leftists under the dome in Montpeculiar.

I have 2 sets of friends who moved to FL over 8 years ago that formally changed their legal residence and receive ballots in the mail. Banana republic stuff!

We cannot and will not have a Free and Fair Election without Corruption, but the leftist super majority will keep gas-lighting Vermont Voters and telling them “Honestly, it’s all fine, there is nothing to see here.” “It’s 100% secure.”
Just like the “Global Warming Solutions Act 153, (Bill-H- 688)” that lays out the plan to control every individual decision Vermonters make about their homes, heat, transportation and food. The “Affordable Heat Act 18, (Bill S-5)” is just the first category. Bills will follow for the other categories if we vote in the same leftists in November.
Why not give other Candidates a chance? Look to see if your Representative(s) and Senator(s) voted for these Bills and don’t vote for them in November. Vote or someone new. What have we got to loose?

I believe that everyone should have to vote in person and show ID to vote. That way there are not millions of fake mail in ballots. I think only American citizens should be allowed to vote. The illegals that have come across the border and transplanted here should not be eligible. 2020 was rigged for the Democratic Party and should not be allowed this time around.

Consider the fact the current Democrat nominee for President of the United States was installed into position without having to be placed on a primary ballot or receive any votes. A person who came in dead last in the 2020 Iowa Presidential primary and dropped out. A person who’s record is wrought with questionable qualifications and scandalous background. What was once unfathomable in the USA, is happening and how it is allowed to happen with impunity is beyond the pale.

So, instead of listening to Brian Christie, who analyzes fraud potential for a living, certified or otherwise, we’re to listen to the ERIC folks (the Electronic Registration Information Center now being used by Vermont but increasingly abandoned by other member States), or the Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (supplier of the new Vermont tabulators), or the Smartmatic SGO Group (voting machine company co-founded by a Venezuelan recently charged with bribery). Are you aware that Dominion recently purchased Smartmatic voting machine technology?
Or (speaking of questionable credentials) we’re to understand that Vermont Secretary of State, Sarah Copeland Hanzas, has the required expertise? Or does Seán Sheehan, recently hired Director of Elections and Campaign Finance, have the necessary expertise?
Are we to believe U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, that the opposition was the clear winner in Venezuela’s recent presidential election and not the current authoritarian leader? And that kind of election fraud can’t happen here?
Or are we to believe you, David Davis? What are your credentials? Perhaps you can explain how Vermont Town Clerks verify the signatures on the envelopes of the mail-in ballots they receive.
Can David Davis defend everything that fits his narrative? We’ll see.
