  1. The Queen City AKA ” The Cesspool ” is now promoting the depravity that has taken over the city with its crime, and drugs that are tentacles of this depravity !!

When will the real citizens ” property owners ” wake up to these actions as this will only devalue their property and their safety………………….Wake up people, it’s your city
not theirs, if your election officials promote this nonsense, vote them out because…. your interest is not their concern ………

  2. How about a covered barbecue pit, and a stage for them to play on, and put their instrument cases for you to put money in for them ? “Build it and they will come” …….

  3. Yesterday I went to Aubuchons’ in Montpelier, and to enter the store I had to get by a “homeless” couple, smoking’s cigarettes, and their barking dog sitting on the ground, in the alcove, right in front of the front door. As a former smoker, I now find the smell of tobacco smoke so repulsive that I make a conscious effort to avoid places where this is acceptable. Guess what Aubuchon’s, I will take my business elsewhere from now on any time I have to deal with this behavior in the future. Do you know why ? Because I can !

    • Aubuchon’s is in a tough position. If the vagrants breaking the law by smoking in an entryway are in any way hassle, even politely asked to stop smoking, the Aubuchon will be subject to a moonbat boycott, protests and vandalism. Smokers are almost universally reviled in Vermont for their “filthy habit”, unless they are homeless or are junkies, then they are deserving of our sympathy and understanding. Try smoking in a public place with a MAGA hat on…

  4. The new mayor providing basic amenities and allowing people to camp in a public right-of-way…no surprise that the word is out that Burlington is a great place to be a street person. Is anyone surprised at the high number of “homeless” who arrive from afar? The majority of voters in Burlington must be ok with this policy, since they deliberately voted for it.

  5. Well, eastern San Francisco will be cleaner and have less human waste, if the campers use the facilities provided. But step cautiously – as Reagan said;“trust but verify”.
