Freshman legislator yet another VT-Amelia Earhart connection

A freshman legislator from Burlington is another Vermont connection with famed female aviator Amelia Earhart.

Bram Kleppner, a Democrat, is the great-nephew of the female flyer. His mother Amy Kleppner was Earhart’s niece, later became her biographer, and one of the last people to see her before her presumed death in 1937.

    I very much appreciate the rememberance of Amelia — I didn’t know she’d visited the Statehouse, and now that I work there, that’s really fun.

    One small correction — you listed me as a D/P, but I’m not affiliated with the Progs — just a D.
