Today, as other Burlingtonians celebrate Good Friday, Burlington’s current and incoming mayors will celebrate the Trans Day of Visibility.
Mayor Weinberger, Mayor-elect Mulvaney-Stanak, and community partners will raise the Burlington Trans Pride Flag at City Hall at noon today to recognize Trans Day of Visibility, a statement from the Mayor’s office said.
The Burlington Trans Pride Flag was developed as part of the City’s Trans People Belong campaign, and the flag that will be raised at City Hall was sewn by a community member.
Also in attendance will be Cuty Councilor Joe Magee, representatives from the Pride Center and Outright Vermont, and community members.
The International Trans Day of Visibility was created by a Michigan activist in 2010. It’s actually observed on March 31 every year. This year, March 31 is Easter Sunday. It’s unclear why Burlington chose today instead.
The advocacy group GLAAD says the day honors the contributions of trans people and highlights the opposition they still face in the media and government.

Once again just showing these cities, these leaders, these communities of lost folks show they are desperately in need of a Savior who will reconnect them to the G-d of the Universe through knowledge and Faith of Jesus Christ. Easter is about a Resurrected Savior who will offer the same gift of Forgiveness and Grace to all who believe.
Celebrate Resurrection Day, (Easter is a fallacy that clouds that name) the Truth that Christ died and rose again to intercede for all of us before the Father who will accept His sacrifice on your behalf.

A “Trans Visibility Day”? What makes it any different than any other day in Vermont? You can’t go 20 feet without seeing them in Vermont. Burlington used to be the lesbian capital of America, and now trans people are pushing them off the top of the heap. Why not have a “Trans Mental Illness Day”? That, in fact, is what they are.

At least she’s out of the legislature as another moombat senator. Burlington is already lost; she will just add to the chaos until it’s finally flushed down the drain. If you can’t pass as the opposite sex, what’s there to respect or celebrate? You don’t look the part and cannot convince anyone. Therefore, any person can just say they’re trans.

Therein lies the problem, you are equating “denominations with Christianity” Christianity is Christianity, denominations are denominations…sometimes a denomination actually aligns with true scriptural Christianity, but they frequently don’t.
I tried to tell people I know who still live in Burlington what was coming their way if they didn’t get off their butts, find an appropriate mayer, and rally the citizens to vote. This is certainly in your face, a demonic led directive : Satan over God. How foolish can the citizens of Burlington be to allow this ? I use to live in Burlington, so It is easy to compare 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, to what Burlington has become. I feel sorry for those how voted against this political eyesore, but for everyone else; you got what you asked for. Enjoy your new High Priestest/Mayor and her new temple on the corner of Main and Church Street. My guess is any blessing left in Burlington is gone now.

I feel they should check with their DEI folks, because I believe they have violated their own non inclusive clause. Hypocrites. The only true inclusive flag is old glory, it includes all Americans.
