On Saturday, September 14, at about 4:34 AM, officers with the Burlington Police Department were dispatched to Penny Lane for a report of juveniles pushing a golf cart into the water from a marina dock.
When officers arrived, a number of people were detained and others eluded police in a vehicle. Police say a large crowd broke into the marina by jumping a fence and drove a golf cart into the lake.
Also, On Monday, September 16 at 12:55 AM, officers observed a vehicle performing donuts in the Leddy Park parking lot. The vehicle was detained and determined to be the same vehicle from the vandalism incident at Penny Lane on Saturday morning. The vehicle was operated by Tayshia Sweet-White, 18, of Bennington. Sweet-White was arrested for negligent operation.
Terron Gainey-Bervine was arrested for a juvenile warrant and providing False Information to a Police Officer. Both Sweet-White and Gainey-Bervine were at the scene on Penny Lane the previous night. Two juveniles were also taken into custody as they were in need of supervision and released to their parents.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Burlington Police Department at (802) 658-2704.

“Spare the rod” ? Maybe it’s time to trade the “rod” in on a taser .
Why is this happening, they know nothing will happen if and when caught, Oh wait they will get their hand slapped, a real deterrent !!
Burlington’s DEI Mayor and her Gaggle of Fools” city council ” have made this normal activity in the early hours. There is a lack of police, which they de-funded and reduced the normal headcount.
We have fools in charge, but you put them there, welcome to Burlington the cesspool by the lake, the lake with a golf cart in it ……………………………………..
Just another day at the Vermont zoo.
Those are definitely the names of kids that I grew up with here in Vermont.
Diversity is such a Joy. Speaking of Joy, that’s Kamala’s plan for the USA. We will all have Joy, but nothing else and you will be so Joyful. Vote republican and save your state and country from the crazies.
This is all fine, Brian. We are celebrating “diversity”.
Diversity: Taking or using disparate paths. Discord. Disunity.
And this is what the Montpelier fuehrers wanted. And they got it.
All because people were terrified of seeing what was right in front of their faces:
Diversity is dissent.
Unity is what is necessary – and unity stems from commonality and from shared culture,
Forced “diversity” is always a nightmare. And here we are.
Vermont Freedom and Unity, RIP. Welcome to the asylum!
More 7-generation Vermonters!! I
mean, that’s probably the common thread here, right?
Hey, be nice. I went to high school with both Terry and Tricia. Oh wait…..
Property crimes on the rise – petty theft, grand theft, vandalism, arson, crime scene clean up – it all adds up in dollars = insurance claims and out-of-pocket. Whether a business owner or a homeowner, the cost of insuring property is a wallet issue. When the number crunchers tally up the increasing risks with no enforcement or prosecution of crimes, the rates will be spread out to all property owners within Burlington and Chittenden County.
Case in point – California. Apparently, for every $1 of insurance written costs a $1.15. Multiply that by millions or billions in property coverage….you get the picture. Once you add on the disaster losses, the insurance industry is rocking and rolling and setting premiums at premium rates. The profit margins shrinking means layoffs, less coverage, and declining service. Add that onto the list of grievances to be ignored.
In another article by VDC “Seeing FBI helicopters in the air? Not to worry” and copying:

“Vermonters, especially residents of Bennington and Windsor, may see FBI and state police tactical (SWAT) units, including helicopters, at work this week. It’s all just part of the drill, authorities say.
Members of the Vermont State Police including the Tactical Services Unit will be conducting a joint training with the FBI at various locations across Vermont this week, state police spokesperson Adam Silverman said”.
They should concentrate in the Burlington and Bennington towns to show force and perhaps curtail criminal activity.
Notice in this article, there’s a guy from Bennington (Tayshia Sweet-White, 18, of Bennington).. Guess these two towns have something in common,-criminals and they can traverse between the two towns easily and cause Rutland problems on the way. The west side of VT., Route 7 is their cow path.
Poor kids can’t have a little fun This is what Liberalism brings you.
Stop calling them gangs. That’s a scary word to me.
Why are two youngsters from Bennington running around in Burlington with nothing to do but cause trouble. Hmmmmm…..????
