Gen. Dan ‘Raisin’ Cain praises VT Air Guard at 18 minute mark on press briefing this AM

By Guy Page

In a press briefing delivered this morning from the Pentagon, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan “Raisin’” Cain (USAF) praised the work of the Vermont Air National Guard in the attack on Venezuela in January and this weekend’s attack on Iran.

At the 18 minute mark of the briefing, which was published on X at 8:03 AM, Cain singled out the Green Mountain Boys.

“The integrated Air National Guard units from a variety of states, including Vermont and Virginia. In the case of the Vermont Air National Guard and the 15th fighter wing, they were mobilized for Operation Absolute Resolve, and then were tasked to take their F-35As across the Atlantic, instead of going home, in order to be prepared for this operation,” Cain said.

Vermont’s F-35A unit has faced longstanding opposition from progressive, anti-war organization. Its siting at the South Burlington/Williston base adjacent to the Leahy International Airport has been under constant criticism, mostly due to noise concerns. A pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel organization has placed non-binding referenda on several Town Meeting ballots calling for the recall of the F-35’s from any action in Iran.

  1. They are the best of the best, what ever we can do to support them, their families in this state. As a resident of Vermont, living on the hill in Winooski, our be praying for their safe return, when once again the sound of freedom will be heard from their engines as they fly over…how I love that sound…

    • Amen ! The sound of freedom ! God bless them and keep them safe .

  2. These ANTI everything people would protest George Washington if had a chance. Bet George Soros money is paying for the protests. In another protest a protester was asked if they had a job, reply: YES, I’M GETTING PAID TO PROTEST. That says it all.

  3. Waiting for the results of this action on Iran and how much damage has been done in Israel?????

  4. That X account is the “Department of War.” What happened to the Dept of Defense? Did the name not sound tough enough or something?

    • We were Department of War for most of our countries history until after WWII actually. I’m an isolationist, but Department of Defense has always been an oxymoron. We’ve only been on defense three times in our history, last time being 9/11. I appreciate the honesty.

    • From 1789 until 1947 it was The Dept of War – seems to be functioning quite well now, doesn’t it?

  5. Isn’t crazy the entire world is celebrating in the streets, thanking Trump, but the only ones not are the American Democrats…

  6. I don’t know about most people but I’m getting sick of these freedom thieves constantly complaining about anything that is being done to protect our country.

They sure enjoy the freedoms they have living here in the US. If you don’t like our country then get out. If you want to live in a dictatorship country then move to the places you are defending. When you defend communism, dictatorship, and criminals nobody wants you here anyway so instead of running your mouth pack up and get.

    • Protect our country from what, Mike? From an imminent nuke strike? You forget that we took out Iran’s nuke capability last June, “totally obliterated” in Trump’s words. You also forget that Trump promised–repeatedly–“no more regime change wars.” It’s a big reason he got re-elected. But MAGA conveniently forgot those promises and now cheers the same way conservatives cheered the Iraq war (which Trump said was a huge mistake, by the way). Funny how history just keeps repeating itself. But now at least we know the difference between real MAGA and fake MAGA.

    • I hope some crowd funding event is created to finance these malcontents travel to another country!

  7. There should be a hero’s welcome set up for their return home. Protecting us and fighting for freedom. God be with them, protect them, and comfort their families.

  8. Waiting for the results on this action on Iran and also how much damage has been done on our military bases and Israel. We need a truthful report of the operations. Comment from Richard Day. Release all of the Epstein Files now.
