South Burlington Police said drugs, guns and stolen vehicles were seized during a raid this morning, Tuesday April 29 at an apartment house on Williston Road east of Hinesburg Road.
Several people were detained initially by city police in tactical gear and at least one person appeared to be taken into custody. The house was well-known to city officers, police said.
Two drivers that spoke to Vermont News First said South Burlington Police stopped or re-routed traffic on Williston Road during the execution of the raid, which was a few doors west of Chappell’s Florist.
There were no Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents or any federal law enforcement agencies involved in the operation, police said.
South Burlington Police said a news release will be issued after officers have cleared the scene between Hayden and Davis Parkways.

Great work, “Rebe”l Cops. Thank you. D Morrisseau
Always a great job by the police
But the courts will let them out !
Why?
Progressive policies suck
Perp will be released by 5:00 pm today.
Time for Sarah George to get busy – prosecuting those police.
You beat me to it.
Just another sort of Vermont ” Clean up ” ……………… remove the trash !!
JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE VERMONT ZOO. How many of these guns have been stolen and are in the nics system of police reported robberies.
I wonder if this is the same house that Price Chopper employees say grocery thieves escape to after stealing cartloads of stuff from the store on Hinesburg Road?
The clientele at the raided house should contact the Golden Dome inhabitants to pressure any judge to get release them if they promise to pay taxes on their “income”, a windfall for the state. Gotta make sense out of this somehow.
