As reported Thursday by Jewish Insider, Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as U.S. anti-Semitism special envoy, warned in an interview with Jewish Insider that inaccurate, inflammatory content is being allowed to spread on social media, and pledged to work with social networks to curb the spread of [so-called] anti-Semitic falsehoods online. “The ideal outcome is, I want to continue America’s tradition of free speech and allowing free speech anywhere and everywhere, freedom of expression,” Kaploun said. “But I would like the platforms — because of the advent of AI and those technologies, you have the ability to recognize when something is not factually correct and it should be labeled as such. I think that’s something that we’d like to target.”

Two police officers were among 29 people taken to hospital with injuries, he said. A bomb-disposal unit was working on several suspected improvised explosive devices, Lanyon said. Mike Burgess, a top Australian intelligence official, said one of the suspected attackers was known to authorities but had not been deemed an immediate threat.
Elections impossible under Zelensky’s ‘terrorist regime’ – Ukrainian MP | 13 Dec 2025 | Presidential elections in Ukraine are impossible under the “terrorist regime” of Vladimir Zelensky and his cohort, exiled Ukrainian lawmaker Artyom Dmitruk has said. Zelensky, whose presidential term expired over a year ago, has repeatedly refused to hold a new election, citing martial law — which was imposed after the conflict with Russia escalated in 2022 and has been regularly extended by parliament. Earlier this week, Zelensky said he would hold an election within 90 days if Kiev’s Western backers can guarantee security. The shift came after U.S. President Donald Trump accused the Ukrainian authorities of using the conflict as an excuse to delay elections, insisting that it’s time. In a series of Telegram posts on Friday, Dmitruk argued that it is “completely pointless” to discuss elections now, calling Zelensky’s remarks “manipulation and hypocrisy” aimed at clinging to power.

Zelensky’s presidential term expired in May 2024, but he has refused to organize elections, citing martial law. Earlier this week, U.S. President Donald Trump said Kiev should no longer use the ongoing conflict as an excuse for the delay. Moscow has maintained that Zelensky has “lost his legitimate status,” which would undermine the legality of any peace deal signed with him. Zelensky…insists that Kiev needs help from the U.S. and European countries “to ensure security” during a vote.
