I’ve never seen evil in a president of the United States, but today I do with President Trump and his leadership team of evildoers consisting of J.D. Vance, Stephen Miller and Russell Vought. In fact, I’ve never felt the strong emotion of evil for anyone or any event in my personal or professional life. But I do now, watching President Trump’s evil, sinful, and immoral agenda destroy our country.
Thinking back to when I first began to vote, I despised President Nixon for his support of this Vietnam War and his Watergate scandal. President Reagan frustrated me with his disparaging and damaging comments about our nation’s government and of course his own Iran Contra scandal. I can’t recall much emotion about president G. H. W. Bush, but none of these men were evildoers.
President Clinton’s sleazy affair with a White House intern and his slow abandonment of traditional democratic voters in favor of wealthy liberal mega donors were short-sighted. He was followed by President G. W. Bush’s lie about “weapons of mass destruction,” and his three tax cuts for the rich were an economic disaster for our nation’s budget. Both were great disappointments, but these Presidents were not evil nor out to destroy America.
President Obama’ lawyerly, cautious and “above it all” approach to his presidency made him vulnerable to political attacks and undermined his effectiveness, which was difficult to watch for twelve years. And of course, President Biden’s refusal to commit to a “transition presidency,” and the subsequent strategy designed by his inner cabinet of advisors covering up the President’s inability to do the work of the presidency continues to raise very disturbing ethical questions. Again, like the previous presidents, neither was evil. They believed they had the best of intentions for our nation.
I’ve always respected the immense difficulty and responsibility that comes with the presidency of the United States, no matter the party or the person. Some of these presidents I voted for, and some I did not. I felt a few embarrassed America, while others embarrassed themselves. Despite it all, over those 50 years, as a proud American citizen who has never missed voting in an election, the quality of the candidate governed my vote. Most importantly, once these presidents were in office, I never witnessed the evil, immorality, and unethical behavior that I do today.
I see evil as knowing that what you are doing is wrong and hurtful, but doing it anyway. With his growing and visible dementia, combined with his narcissistic personality, I’m not sure President Trump is fully capable of knowing the difference between right and wrong or good and evil. His AI posting on Truth Social showing him flying a jet dumping feces on peaceful protesters the day of the nationwide demonstrations is another sign of a demented and profoundly deranged individual.
His rambling and incoherent comments at the UN, at the Charlie Kirk funeral, and the speech given to all our generals offer proof of his unstable state of mind. Most importantly, this is also proof that his underlings, Vance, Miller, and Vought, will put up with the President’s distracting “white noise” so they can focus on the real agenda: a much smaller federal government, privatizing entire departments and agencies, and deregulation for excessive corporate profits.
Trump’s three underlings and the architects of the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 are fully aware of the impact of their behavior and actions. They know that the evisceration and deconstruction of our federal government will cause great economic, social, moral, and ethical pain to tens of millions of American families and citizens of all ages, genders, nationalities, religions, national parties, and political persuasions.
They know less regulation is a pathway for corporate profits and for the rich to get richer. They know that lower taxes will eventually destroy the municipal services most of us depend upon. They know that privatizing and eventually defunding Social Security and Medicare will hurt all of us who are not millionaires or billionaires. They know the nation cannot exist with the massive debt, and they know it will not be paid down until the wealthiest 600 families, who own 79% of America’s wealth, pay their fair share of taxes. They know immigrants are not taking jobs from Americans when in fact, they are doing the work most Americans will not do. They also know that the non-white population is at 40% of the nation, and will become the majority population in twenty years, even if the borders are closed.
Denying the truth to these issues is the definition of an evildoer. These are examples of deeply immoral, unethical and hurtful behaviors. But an evildoer is not bothered. Evildoers put profiteering and position power for self, family, and a close circle of friends before the needs of neighbors, county, state, and nation. Welcome to the evil world of J.D. Vance, Stephen Miller and Russell Vought. As the president makes a fool of himself, these three will not fool the rest of us. Over time, most MAGA supporters will eventually realize that they have been exploited, lied to, and taken for fools. Evil has never withstood the test of time. Eventually the truth will prevail.

John, you have crossed the Rubicon! You have Stage 4 TDS, brought on by the seeming righting of the good ship America. I do feel for you, sort of. You were oh-so-close to completing the destruction of this country; just one, annoying, cackling, word-salad spewing idiot away from sealing the deal…
But God intervened, tiring of the nonsense of the last 4 years, and spared this great country of any more lunacy. Oh sure, there is lots of work ahead of us, and yes, the Left has managed to assassinate one of our brightest voices. But even then, the Left has failed; Kirk’s voice has been amplified a million times louder.
So while Trump continues to remove the parasites, leeches, and ticks that have been draining our bodies, color is returning to our faces while blood returns to the head, and our vision is restored.
You can continue to skyscream for the next three years. Or not. Makes no difference; we have work to do. Joyfully. And you will fade into the din, one way or another.

Divide and conquer over the same issues that started way back. Until both the left and right decide to actually stop bickering and fighting each other, realize we’ve all been played and deceived by the “big club,” we are finished, we lose it all, and there will be no getting any of it back or corrected – ever again.

Funny how different people can look at the same picture and come away with wildly different impressions. The needle on my “evil meter” shot deep into the red when I viewed the likes of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden—all of whom are the quintessence of evil and did their best to destroy the country.
Trump is no saint, and he is pursuing some actions that give me serious pause, such as his naive continuing support for the COVID jab in spite of overwhelming evidence of its disastrous effects, and his relentless promotion of brain-rotting artificial intelligence (AI).
However, he clearly has the best interests of the country at heart and sincerely, I believe, more than anyone before him, wants to pull us out of the smoldering wreckage left by his Democratic predecessors and the radical, suicidal—and purely EVIL—America-hating Left.

Their cellar hole is just below my property. And researching old deeds many mention Their property lines were near “the graves of some young children” most likely either Howard or Taft. Back Windham Road was once called Taft Road and the area Taft Hill having many Taft’s there. Peter and other Taft’s moved to Ohio and became prominent politically. Interesting article Neil. I’ve wondered just how bartender AOC rose to become the mouthpiece of the Dem Party without any elite old Dems stating any opposition. This seems to be a common theme in the socialists agenda. They believe “big companies” are evil. And I absolutely agree that big corporations can get out of control. We the people need a tool to keep them from behaving badly. That tool that we use is our elected government. But what about the largest “corporation” in the world: the US Federal Government? If the government seizes control of all free enterprise by regulation or legislation, how will people be able to keep it from behaving badly? The government will never go after itself. It’s scary to think people voted for Kamala Harris, who openly called for the Federal government to seize control of private enterprises through “partnerships”.

This is the same topic as above. The reality is quite the opposite from what Bossange implies: history has shown that governments that grow to encompass and control all of their people’s activities and wealth always, without exception, turn into nightmarish regions of oppression. The most prosperous and desirable places are places where there is a good balance between Freedom of choice and law and order. The only people who want to see the state and federal government grow, not shrink, are those who have positions in that system itself: the new slave masters.

Municipal services will not be destroyed. They are paid for by municipal fees and taxes, like water and sewer bills and toll roads. This is the most fair system, and removes the burden of some homesteading family living in the NEK, VT, from having to flip the bill for water supply in say, Detroit, MI. If the people of a particular municipality don’t want to pay for their own services, then that’s their decision. Of course, there are some other cases, such as international harbors and ports that everyone benefits from so that we can conduct trade. Those are not Municipal services.

I am not aware of any plan to defund Social Security or Medicare, however those programs are essentially bankrupt due to the aging boomer population. They have kicked the can down the road and have placed the burden on the next generation.

This is misinformation. If the big, bad, bullies who call themselves Progressive take every penny of the wealth of the top 600 families, it would not make a dent in the national debt. Where did all those expenditures go that created the debt? It appears to have been wasted, squandered, redistributed to the government workers and welfare recipients, or re-distributed around the world. This idea of taking the property away from the wealthiest and redistributing it is purely a Communist fantasy and has never worked in history, although it has been tried.
