Bids for Peacham equestrian compound start at $1.9 million

An ‘equestrian compound’ built 30 years ago on a Peacham farm will be auctioned online next month, the auctioneer announced Tuesday.

The Blue Sky Estate previously listed for $6,275,000 is going to auction October 15 with a starting bid of $1.9M, according to an email from Interluxe Auctions.

The equestrian compound is being sold by Interluxe Auctions.

Previews in Peacham, VT begin Saturday, October 12, and the auction begins online on Tuesday, October 15.

The Blue Sky Estate, built in 1994 on the historic Taylor Farm Homestead, blends reclaimed post-and-beam frames and barnboard exteriors. At the heart of the property is the Main Lodge home with an indoor pool and unique living spaces, complemented by the Mountain Cabin, a Studio House, and a Barn Apartment. The estate boasts a modern Lake House overlooking Ewell Pond, complete with boat dock and swim float.

According to promotional materials, the compound has four dwellings on 144± acres. “At the heart of the property lies the shingle-style Main Lodge home, complemented by the Mountain Cabin, a versatile modern Studio House and a private Barn Apartment.
