As the national conversation about geoengineering and weather modification intensifies, U.S. Representative Becca Balint (D-VT) took to X yesterday (7/10) to redirect attention toward climate change as the primary driver of extreme weather patterns. 

“Hey Lee Zeldin, there is in fact a phenomenon that affects weather patterns and causes more instances of severe storms all over the world. It’s called climate change,” wrote Balint in response to Trump’s EPA’s director Lee Zeldin’s post on X yesterday where he wrote: “Americans have questions about geoengineering and contrails. They expect honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers. For years, people who asked questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. This ends today.”

Earlier yesterday (7/10), the EPA released new online resources aimed at addressing public concerns about geoengineering and contrails, following Zeldin’s directive to his team to compile and publicly share all available data. “The Trump EPA is committed to total transparency. I tasked my team @EPA to compile everything we know about contrails and geoengineering to release to you now publicly. I want you to know EVERYTHING I know about these topics, and without ANY exception!” Zeldin announced in a video statement earlier today, accompanied by a link to the new resources.

Zeldin also shared a link to an EPA official government website “EPA Releases New Online Resources Giving Americans Total Transparency on the Issues of Geoengineering and Contrails,” with portals to limited information on geoengineering, contrails, and HAARP.

The EPA’s initiative seeks to counter years of skepticism, where individuals raising questions about weather modification have been dismissed, vilified, or ignored.
