A Barre family returned home from church on Sunday to find a barn with close to 200 animals inside had burned to the ground.

Over 100 adult pigs, sheep, goats, and chickens plus 70-80 piglets were lost in the fire, according to WCAX-TV.

“We were seeing the dead animals, you know. Clearly, they did not die a happy death. But then when you see the children of that family carrying a goat that is deceased across the yard, that is really the thing that is sad,” Barre Town Fire Chief Andy Lange told the television station.

More than a dozen central Vermont fire departments responded to the scene, according to the Times Argus.
Bennington hospital to build adolescent psych unit

The Green Mountain Care Board has approved a plan to build a new 12-bed psychiatric unit for adolescents aged 12-17 on the campus of the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, reported Vermont Public.

The state is kicking in $9.25 million for construction and $1 million for the first year of operating costs.

The Brattleboro Retreat, which maintains the only other inpatient psychiatric unit for adolescents in Vermont, pushed back against the proposal.

“[The Brattleboro] Retreat challenged some of the data that Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and the state used to support the need to build a new adolescent psychiatric unit.”

The Bennington Banner reported that the proposed construction estimate has increased to more than $10 million since the initial application.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock will provide the clinical team at SVMC.

  1. Farms, food centers have been strangely incinerated across the nation for the past 4 years. The Green agenda ought to be investigated for its bad actors in every case.

    • Meantime, the people who pretend to care about local issues in Vermont were parading around about “hands off” of their right to murder babies, trans your children, but consider farm animals a danger to their precious greentard agenda and celebrate their burning as an offering to the climate gods.
This state is literally Sodom and Gomorrah. No clue how it continues to function. Grand majority of its residents are emotional basketcases with endless causes that have no real value to anyone. Broken record robots. Hopefully, AI will dispose of them as I cannot see what use they can be even to computers.

  2. “Clearly, they did not die a happy death.” Describing a child carrying a dead goat? Someone get that man a doctor or an exorcist. Such statements strike as evidence of wickedness perpetrating the mind as an intrusive possessive spirit – some don’t even realize it – yet those with eyes to see and ears to hear know the works of demonic witchcraft and spellcasting. Uttering such words to paint such an image from death, destruction and sorrow – the demonic is working overtime these days.
