Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT) voted Wednesday, Sept. 18 against a U.S. House of Representatives bill to deport illegal immigrants who commit domestic violence and sex offenses.
51 other House Democrats voted for the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, which passed the House by a 266-158 margin and now goes to the Senate. HR7909, sponsored by Rep. Nancy Mace, R-South Carolina, “establishes that domestic violence crimes and sex offenses shall be grounds for making a non-U.S. national (alien under federal law) inadmissible and deportable,” according to Congress.gov.
The Congress.gov explanation of the bill states: “The bill applies to any non-U.S. national who has admitted to or is convicted of acts constituting the essential elements of a crime of domestic violence or a sex offense, and includes conspiracy to commit a sex offense. (Under current law, convictions for certain crimes, including crimes of moral turpitude, are grounds for inadmissibility and deportability.)”
Every Republican in the GOP-controlled House voted for the bill. The Demcratic caucus voted 51-158. Fellow progressive ‘squad’ members Talib, Omar, Pressley, and Occasio-Cortez also voted no.
Balint has not mentioned the vote on her social media.

And this right here is WHY we will be voting her out of office! They care more about illegals than they do their own citizens WHO PAY THEIR SALARY AND YEARLY INCREASES, only to spit in our faces.
With all due respect – their publicly paid and disclosed reimbursement is not where the real money is. Think FTX, Ukraine, stock tips, mortgage refinancing. How does “Joe Biden” own several homes, yet show just a 6-figure income on his tax returns?

No surprise there
Rep. Becca Balint is a wake up call to all Vermonters and the chances of voting her out of office will depend on how much financial damage is done to Vermonters in the next two years.
Now is an excellent time to replace balint. Clearly her agenda, worldview and allegiance is to something other than Vermont and her supposed constituents.
No need to inflict further economic damage to Vermonters, Coester signed a no tax pledge and would probably not be allowed in the “big club”.
balint served Vermont poorly in the VT senate, beholden to the donor class. She was elected because of gender and sexual orientation, not ability.
Not so long as Chittenden County will keep her in office. What they want, the rest of us get.
I have zero respect for her.
They are coming up with ways to cure cancer, but this is one cancer I hope doesn’t get electoral support / fixed. What does she eat? Must be on continued drugs. NO reality whatsoever.

Chris: Actually magic mushrooms are readily available in the wilds of Vermont. I enjoy the eatable ones, great taste, healthy and for deferring potential sickness. Dr Weil is a huge fan of them, good web site. They bare fun to search in the woods. I would suggest her picking the Death Cap, solve VT state. Give her bad mushrooms over drugs. I think she’ll believe anything.
I have 12 descriptive Mushroom books, great fun to identify the good from the bad and how to cook them.
Gotta keep all those potential voters in country ( maybe she can work on giving them absentee ballots).
Perhaps she can deliver them to Church St. Burlington for a shot at the sanctuary city and and all it has to offer.
Does she even read the bills and what is in it and desired end result?

So we have people that come into our country illegally, so they are criminals, and Vermont’s representative Balint thinks it’s a good idea to let them stay, where do we get these inept fools, she’s just another black eye for Vermont politically.
So apparently Ms.Balint doesn’t believe in supporting our laws an oath she took to support ……….I guess she can’t be trusted, and neither can the illegals she needs to be voted out, illegals need to be deported !!
We have laws for a reason, and punishment when you break them, and Ms. Balint shows her allegiance is to her party’s agenda, not for your or the country’s safety.
Wake up people, Vote her out !!
For anyone shocked why the child predators chose Vermont to hold their jamboree to share their disgusting tales and tactics around a comfy campfire, Becca Balint and many of her comrads protect and support predators. Jezebel spirits reign to destroy anything good and make everything evil look good – got it?
Mark Coester a good conservative is running against her in this election. He is who I am voting for however there are too many stoopid people voting in this state.

My gut reaction is to agree 100% about ‘stoopid’ voters. On further examination, how can they make good decisions if all of their information is bad? Other than this small island of honest discussion known as VDC, most people face a constant barrage from the “big club’s” mouthpiece. They are being taught to ignore anyone who has other opinions and do not engage with them. We need to be careful about using derogatory words to describe them: their ignorance is being cultivated. We should attack their oppressors if we wish to free them, not them directly.
Recently I was at a GOP campaign event where I spoke with an otherwise astute politician who described the above-mentioned as “a nice person.” Wishing to appear congenial, I didn’t respond with “Ask Molly Gray if she’s a nice person.”
Flooding America with criminal aliens while building 25,000 new units of affordable housing (for whom?) in this state adds up to Vermont women and girls (and boys) being dragged into the woods. Apparently that’s someone’s fantasy.

Vermonters should demand that she explain why she voted against this bill. Get her to own it vs the usual “this soon shall pass” and no one will care
maybe she will be attending the map/pedophile event
The next challenge will be identifying ALL the Vermont judges who have given lenient sentences or allowed legal permanent residents to plead down charges with the express intent of AVOIDING deportation. This could potentially be a huggggge story in Vermont, and would shed light on the true effect the REFUGEE POPULATION has on CRIME here.
Here’s a thought deport all illegals
