A U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit stealth bomber electrified the crowd at Norwich University’s Homecoming football game this weekend, soaring directly over Sabine Field in a thunderous flyover that left thousands of spectators cheering.

The aircraft passed at an elevation of 2,000 feet on a north-to-south path just after the Cadets took the field. The Norwich University Regimental Band, the oldest collegiate band in the nation, struck up the National Anthem immediately following the flyover, adding to the patriotic pageantry.

Video of the moment has gone viral, drawing more than 450,000 views across the university’s social media channels, with fans also posting their own clips of the rare military aircraft.

The tradition continued as the Norwich Artillery Battery fired its howitzer at kickoff, while the Cadet football team kept spirits high with a dominant 63-0 win over Maine Maritime, capping a memorable day for alumni, students, and families.
