Burlington police this morning arrested a Keshawn Galloway, 23, already wanted on an arrest warrant, for attempting to stab a bartender in an argument over a mixed drink.
Keshawn Galloway was 18 when he was arrested for sex assault on a child in 2018. The teenaged Galloway’s father, Tim Galloway, pleaded guilty for trafficking drug-addicted women in Vermont in 2016, according to WCAX reports.
Burlington police say that at 1:26 AM Saturday morning, June 1, the Burlington Police Dispatch Center received a 911 call for a male, later identified as Keshawn Galloway, who threatened to stab a bartender at a Church Street bar.
The caller said the suspect male had walked away and was in the area of Church St and Main St. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to witnesses while others canvassed the area to locate a male matching the description.
Officers made contact with the male who provided a false name. This male was later identified as Keshawn Galloway, age 23. While Officers spoke to Galloway, he attempted to flee on foot after being told he was being detained for a criminal investigation. Officers were able to catch Galloway, who ignored officers orders and resisted arrest. Officers were eventually able to secure Galloway into handcuffs.
Police say Galloway had a dispute with a bartender over a mixed alcoholic beverage, where Galloway grabbed the shirt of the bartender in a violent manner. The bartender escorted Galloway outside of the establishment, where Galloway pulled a knife out and threatened to stab the bartender. Galloway advanced towards the bartender who was able to gain control of Galloway’s hand that possessed the knife.
Other patrons of the establishment observed the bartender attempting to defend himself and assisted with getting Galloway to separate. Galloway was lodged at Northwest Correctional Facility on the arrest warrant with a bail of $500 and received an additional bail of $5000 for the new criminal charges.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Burlington Police Department at (802) 658-2704.
According to media reports, Tim Galloway pleaded guility to trafficking drug-addicted women and received a 3-6 year sentence. He reportedly forced several women into prostitution by using physical violence and preying on their drug addictions. He reportedly used the website Backpage.com.
The exploitation of drug=addicted Vermont women into prostitution by men like Tim Galloway – himself a drug addict – was a common enough practice that the U.S. Attorney’s office in 2015 released a video of women telling their horror stories. It can still be seen at UCanstoptraffic.com.

There are no criminals if you read Vermont Digger, there are only police officers behaving badly, singing Karaoke out of tune and getting fired for it. Racists they shout!
Has anyone notice a changed trend in Vermont?
In Chittenden County?
In Burlington?????
Why suddenly after 200 years of relative tranquility do we have rampant big city crimes, without having a big city?
Why is our countryside littered like bad yard sale of broken families, drug dealings, drug criminal activity, death and hopelessness?
Just curious, everybody knows who’s dealing the drugs, where the drugs are coming from in every town and city across the state.
Why haven’t the leaders in Montpelier noticed?
Why don’t you see any reporting of this VT Digger?
Why don’t you see any reporting of this in 7 Days?
Why is our speech censored on so many sites across our state?
Could it be adopting big city policies leads to big city problems regardless of city size? How long are we going to go down this road before we recognize, maybe we’re on the wrong road?
Please go back to your regularly scheduled program, “Orange man Bad”, Earth is going to collapse in 4 years. (It’s going to happen this time!)

Because our “leaders” in Montpelier are too busy setting up “safe” injection site, expanding baby killing and organ harvesting at Planned Parenthood, and discrimination enforcement against the innocent (DEI). And currently they are hell bent on ruining the economy and impoverishing the people, and polluting the environment with their toxic “green” energy solutions.
…in other words, too busy following their marxist/satanic (UN/WEF/WHO) masters’ Agenda 2030/2050. They are anti-human.
Galloway needs to meet an Hornady XTP H.P. for all the horror he is responsible for.
How much would you like to bet he won’t get even one felony charge before being released?
Restorative justice in full display.
I love that bartender got control of his hand with knife, now if only he had broke his arm while he was at it, that would have been the cherry on top!
I do karate and if my sense was behind the bar, he would have gotten the man in a wrist and broke his wrist. Problem solved!
Bartender with a knife reminds me of the Godfather and Luca Brasi’s hand impaled to the bar top…now that would prevent the police from having to chase him through the streets and make it easier to put the cuffs on.
In Texas or Florida, someone who put a restaurant/bar worker who was just doing their job in fear of their life in front of witnesses would have met up with the hollow point grim reaper. Too bad Burlington is so emasculated by liberalism. Nice job by the bartender and the Burlington Police in taking him down…at least temporarily.
Too bad some people seem to have a problem resolving disputes without violence…anyone else beginning to see a pattern here?
This guy has laughed his way through restorative justice interventions for years and years. Now he literally attempts to KILL a guy and if history holds true, he’ll be out and Gallovanting through the streets of Burlington for many more years to come. Restorative justice works with elementary school kids maybe. After that fuggetaboudit. Thank god the bartender was able to grab then knife hand and got some help or this could be a very different story.
This too was obviously a woman’s fault.
All this violence – the shootings, stabbings, drug infestation. Women. Women. Women.
When will all those statistics demonstrating that this is all because of womens’ penchant for violence & lust be brought to light and when will women finally be arrested for crimes like this one?
Obviously, this innocent male wasn’t hugged enough by mom. Geeeeeesh.
Too funny, you’d love watching Tommy Sotomayor’s videos, BT100, etc…..nobody is talking about women’s role in this. But to suggest that women have no role and do no wrong, well, that might be a bit like claiming women can do no wrong or have no culpability for their actions.
Hugs are awesome, btw…here’s a virtual hug coming your way. God forgives, peace.
We’re all in this crazy mixed up hot mess together.
