Tuesday, April 2, the Vermont State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, following a months-long investigation, arrested Anton G. Lutz Jr., 29, who has no fixed address, for the following offenses:
- Sale of fentanyl
- Sale of cocaine
- Possession of cocaine
- Violating court-ordered conditions of release (x6)
VSP’s investigation determined that Lutz sold fentanyl and cocaine in the Brattleboro area during July 2023 and was in possession of cocaine at the time of his arrest in April 2024. The violations of court-ordered conditions of release stem from several dockets in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, that were active during the time in which he was distributing narcotics.
Lutz was ordered held on $5,000 bail and was cited to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on April 3, at 12:30 PM.

just another day at the vermont zoo/////////////////
The state needs to get involved with the stealing of a garden flag?
Especially one that reads like a communist manifesto… Tells you where the state is on that one doesn’t it?
It’s possible that the person who stole the yard flag really wanted one of their own to display their feelings of wanting to promote equity and understanding…and they just couldn’t afford one of their own. Take notice VT Legislature, while there is still time in this session that we may need to create a program to provide lawn virtue-signaling materials for those of limited means. This was not a crime of hate, but a cry for help!
Really, I involving the Vermont Attorney General in the stealing of a garden flag that sponsors the socialist values and political objectives of the United Nations, an international NGO and threat to national sovernty.
I am curious as to what happened to Mr. Lutz on his April 3rd court date. Released on conditions again? I mean, obviously he is an upstanding member of his community and has the utmost respect for the law. I wonder how the judges who keep releasing him, would feel about having Mr. Lutz out on conditions only to find out that he sold deadly drugs to one of their own family members. Will it take a tragedy hitting home to make them stop the revolving door? If Mr. Lutz is released again and causes a death by the drugs he sells….could the judge that released him be held responsible for the death along with Mr. Lutz? The judge would certainly be as guilty.
Why not if someone steals your gun you are responsible for there actions.
I am wondering what the salary and job description is of the Bias Incident Coordinator for the Vermont Attorney General. Surely there is a Deputy Bias Incident Coordinator that this case was assigned to, right?
there is no position of elected vermont attorney general/// read the proposed amendments in the vermont constitution/// the elected position was never created with a constitutional amendment///
