To the Editor:
The No Kings protestors are part of our political landscape today who are emotionally influenced by the Trump Derangement Syndrome. Their rallies do not tell us anything about what they are protesting. Even the letters to the editor and news articles on their rallies do not show how they would offer solutions that differ from what President Trump is doing.
What would the protestors do with the Iranian Islamists terrorists who are developing a nuclear weapon and cite “Death to America” as their ultimate objective? Would they enforce our immigration laws or open borders for illegal immigrants entering our country? Illegals cost taxpayers about $450B annually and live off entitlements.
The war in Ukraine has been going on for several years and today, 30,000 are injured and/or killed monthly. What are the protesters’ solutions for peace? How would they handle XI and Putin?
What would they do to lower food prices and housing costs? These are troubling concerns and offering solutions would give them credence in the debate.
High health costs are the number one concern for citizens today even more so than saving the planet. Progressives support socialized medicine. Do protestors? Is government-controlled health care really what they want?
Protestors need to talk solutions rather than vent that Trump is a King. We need to solve these problems. Trump is trying. Complaining about Trump being King without providing solutions is just whining.

Guy Page. A quote from an email I received from him the day after he failed to properly announce the date and time of the ICE public hearing at the State House. ICE public support is an issue he attempted to raise on his radio broadcast.
It is apparent he is choosing incompetency over controlled opposition. It is very easy for him to prove his unflappable courage as a conservative activist in the State House. Guy is about to question Governor Scott once a week at his press conferences. He can ask him why he won’t commit to vetoing S208 and S209 bills that will hinder ICE from carrying out its duties, and why he opposes President Trump at every opportunity he gets.
If Guy is unable to do show prep by writing down the time of a public hearing to be announced that day, he should have one of his associates replace him as anchor on his broadcast.
I am still willing to speak on his broadcast in an appropriate format.

I found this letter from Frank Mazur disgusting. I first saw it in the Caledonian Record.
There is nothing I despise no much as a sycophant of Donald Trump, the sorriest excuse for a President I have seen in my 61 years on this planet.
I wonder if this Mazur guy realizes that, as he whines and moans about “protestors”, that’s precisely what he himself is.
No Kings?
That’s exactly right, and those who disagree are unAmerican. They glow in an ugly color, and their day will come.
Donald Trump is a criminal. He is an egomaniac with a screw loose, and people like Mazur are frankly, not helping.
You can support Trumpism, or you can be a patriot. You cannot be or do both. Period. And Mister Mazur, if you disagree, you are wrong.
It’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove this monied megalomaniac from office. If it happens, I swear to you I will enjoy every second of watching people like Mazur cry like spanked children.
Now tell me some more about ‘Trump Derangement syndrome”, Pancho.

So smug and self righteous! Your way or no way! Personally, as a Vermonter, I don’t want to see those Senate Bills passed! ICE is doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Removing people from our Country that are living here illegally! It’s the LAW, it’s been the Law and hopefully if anything those laws will become stronger not weaker. These people have been invading our Country and stealing our jobs, overtaxing our healthcare, schools and benefits for decades! This is what Americans voted for when we elected Trump! He’s fulfilling his campaign promises! We are tired of all the Wokeness and wasteful spending from the Democrats! Vermont was once a Red State and we are doing our best to make it that again!
There are young people out there that believe these illegals built this Country. That they do work Americans won’t do. Yes, many immigrants did build this Country, the difference is they were LEGAL, vetted immigrants who actually love America. They don’t wave the flag of the Country they left yelling death to America!
Most of us that support ICE removing these illegals also support those that come here lawfully and truly want to integrate into the American way of life!
Eddie, I fail to see any justification for your personal attacks on Mazur or Trump. I would be the first person to jump on the wagon to stop government overreach. However, the protests about “ICE” being overreaching are unfounded as far as I can tell: Law enforcement is enforcing the laws, and justice is being served based on those laws. The protesters who scream “ICE-Out” seem to be woefully ignorant about the root cause: the immigration laws are a failure and need to be updated. This duty fell on the shoulders of Bernie Sanders: 36 years in US Legislature with no effort done. Welch is not much different. Both seem to be promoting slavery via their promotion of keeping second class citizens who have no legal rights and can not vote for their representatives. Shame on you.
The “No Kings” slogan is insulting on so many levels. There is no evidence that Trump is going to try to stay in power longer than his guaranteed time as an elected POTUS. In fact, the “No Kings” slogan seems to be more of a slur against Christianity than anything. I don’t care if you are atheist, but to use that phrase can only mean one thing: you are trying to defame the only one true king.
I will rebuke Mazur on one point: “Illegals cost taxpayers about $450B annually and live off entitlements.” I do not believe that statement. Furthermore, I believe the current population of “illegal immigrants” should be offered a pathway to full citizenship so that they can vote for their representatives and not be slaves.
The rest of Mazur’s statement seems accurate. I advise anyone who doesn’t understand the connection between Iran, Russia, China and the 47 years of war in the Middle East to open your eyes and study factual history. The Japanese were likewise brainwashed and were not going to stop their terrorism until they had been subdued. Now that the connection between the terrorists controlling Lebanon and the Iranian regime is fully exposed, we have to question territorial boundaries in that region. The Lebanese government is not in control of their own territory: the IRGC is.
Mr Garcia, You are the perfect figure head for the TDS syndrome group. Your hatred of Trump and the People that follow him is evident. I am 80 years old and for a large part of my life I was a Democrat, but that party has moved to far left for me. There are just some things being shoved in my face that don’t sit well. I am angry about the open borders that were allowed and that may lead to another 911 incident (or worst). There are people out there who hate America and people like you who initiate hate within America because of hatred of one man. You do not truly love America because you do not accept the voice of America which is our vote. If you love America you would work to protect it and our rights as voters and as citizens.
The person you hate so much is one of the first Presidents who has been honest enough to say and do what needs to be done! I admit, I sometime cringe at the words that come out of his mouth, but I truly believe he has the welfare and greatness of the Country at the core of his actions. If Mazure was the “spanked child” you say he is, I must tell you what you are. It is not a child’s’ misbehavior, it is what I call “VERY SORE LOOSER”.
I’m confused. If Frank disagrees with you, he is wrong? I see this a lot on this site and it always baffles me that Trump haters don’t think anyone else the right to an opinion. I guess that you can hate the man but please have some respect for the office. If people could explain why and what the President did to them personally to cause such hatred or admiration, then it would be easier to engage in these debates.

The Truth Social account of President Donald Trump showed a racist image of former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama portrayed as apes. he had the post taken down but never apologize for it. Now, please explain to me why the American people should have any respect for the current president? I could give you these examples all day long. Trump is a danger to the US and to the world. You’re welcome to think otherwise but I believe he will go down as the worst president in American history And a great thing is many Americans feel the same way. Most recently the conspiracy between the Federal Judiciary, the Biden Whitehouse, the previous Democrat President, Biden Attorney General, unlawfully appointed Special Council, Democratic operative Attorneys General and District Attorney.
All coordinating bending laws and covering for each other in doing so to persecute the political opponent you love to hate. Citizens were incarcerated in solitary confinement for years without trial or even a date before a judge, banning the free practice of religion and gathering, for ‘your own good’ which we now know was a totally false premise by the “I am science” King arm of the Administration. Citizens were murdered for no reason due to the total disregard to enforce Federal Law by opening the Southern Border and telling lies to the US Citizens that ‘the border is secure’. Confiscation of citizens property without due process including undue force for infractions that had no threat and were a miscarriage of justice. Also, the matter of your king taking foreign money to enrich his family, some of which was generated from the US. There is also seething against your symbol of ire due to the disclosure of the Billions of dollars waisted from US Treasury in kickbacks to favorites of the Democrat Party thru Non-Government Organizations to influence the Judiciary and push ridiculous Democrat Socialist Agenda against the interest American citizens in favor of party agenda and personal gain of members. Not to mention the coverup of the Chair of Intelligence Committee having a personal relationship with a Chinese spy. Again, written proof is now at hand for all the above, a real patriot at FBI had retained within the Bureau over a million pages of these documents, emails, etc. and presenting them last month.

For starters, a simple google search will show gas was never $5 during Obama’s terms. The average price of gas during Biden’s time wasn’t $4.85 either. Where do you get this nonsense? Chris, interesting comment and interesting dollar amount. The Epstein issue is a dead horse that the Democrats want to keep whipping. Democrats had full control over the files for years, while trying to come up with something to use against President Trump but had to resort to Hillary Clinton buying a novel called the Steel Dossier full of fiction which was used in the conspiracy against opposition candidate using mainstream media and corrupt Federal Judges (written and text proof) when it would have been easier to release the Epstein files, the reason for taking this route, no evidence exists but Epstein will still be thew ‘boogyman’ even though the evidence points to Democrats. Remembering Obama/Biden Administration giving billions in cash on pallets to Iran (again written proof now) and gasoline was still over $4.00 gallon, so we are used to it. I have heard Brian Pearl many times on Hot Off the Press. I usually enjoy his comments. Sometimes he is very informative. I don’t understand why he so viciously attacked Guy Page for forgetting to announce a hearing. And I don’t understand why people hate Trump and anybody who voted for him. I like Trump because I believe what he says and not what the media says he says. The media never corrects people when they say lies about Trump. Yesterday I heard Bill Mckibbens say an outrageous lie about Trump on PBS. Pres. Trump rarely gets credit for the good things he does. He has helped me by giving Veterans choices for care so they can get care in their own community and not have to drive all the way to the hospital in White River Junction. More recently he has made it possible for low income Vermonters to not have to pay for their Medicare. This increases their SS by over $200.00 per month. I am one of the 14,000 Vermonters who are eligible for this help and I am very thankful.

We did not get a decrease in our Medicare bill and are paying over four thousand dollars out of our social security payments each year.
Basic Medicare went up this year $23 a month, from $2220. to $2446, a year, Part B on Federal Side, any other premiums is to cover add ons you carry with private carriers, which thanks to our Legislature are becoming fewer and more expensive in this State.
You say you don’t want a king, but you want a government that runs healthcare, housing, education, labor, wages, the financial system, and tells you what lightbulb to use.
