  1. That $350,000 should have gone to help the homeless, veterans, or donated to food shelves. Sorry, not sorry, waste of funds.

  2. If it’s a private donation, it’s more than appropriate. If it’s public funding, then it’s not. As previously mentioned, we have homelessness, veteran’s health and wellness, and food benefits that all take precedence (IMO), but a private individual or entity can donate their money to whatever they D.W. please.

  3. The person who donate should be proud of themselves and want to have their name public.

  4. A true conservative wouldn’t care what a private citizen does with their tax dollars, but I only see MAGA sheep who don’t stand for anything so they fall for everything.

Imagine if all the curious little monkeys here were just as curious where the money for Trump’s ballroom or who is funding the pardons for criminals like Changpeng Zhao came from, but you get all bent out of shape at the prospect that Ru Paul might have cut an anonymous check to someone who wants to make life a little less bad for someone else. How Christlike

  5. Today in the supermarket, I witnessed a 6ft plus male with full beard & mustache donning 6-inch spiked heels & skin-taught leotards, boasting a distinct bulge, paired with a flowered ultra skimpy mini-skirt. And while to each his own, I’m still unclear as to why obvious mental illness is now a cause of “pride” instead of a cause to seek mental health help.

Pride of any type is condemned in the Bible, and the celebrated pride of disordered acts and lifestyles is truly baffling especially. And what person who is mentally stable needs to celebrate or otherwise advertise who they choose to be intimate with?

Indeed, an utter waste of money that could have been used to genuinely benefit the disadvantaged, though a cunning use of money for those whose goal is to continue to erode what remains of the moral fiber of society.

    • Indeed, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, and C.S. Lewis all described pride as the mother of all sins.

  6. Maybe should donate to the pride centers counterpart, the Humility Center. I think it’s on a one way, dead end street.
