Trump supporters plan flag/sign waves on 100th day

Wednesday, April 30 marks the 100th day of the Trump/Vance White House. Supporters plan to commemorate the day with 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM sign and flag waves across Vermont.

Sign wave organizer Greg Thayer said the administration’s accomplishments range “from securing our borders, expelling criminal illegals, fixing trade agreements with Tariff pressures to ninety countries across the globe, to re-patriating and negotiating foreign business investment to American soil, to opening up our natural resources by drilling for oil.”

“On this Wednesday We, proud Trump/Vance supporters are hosting flag and sign waves across our beautiful Green Mountain State to show our support with gratification to our President, his Vice President JD Vance, and members of his Administration we will be waving American and Trump/Vance Flags and signs,” Thayer said. “This is our THANK YOU to the President and his Teams.”

Locations for the 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm sign/flag waves include:

Rutland: Main Street Park (next to Five Guys Rest.

Barre: Monument Park Main Street Downtown.

Brattleboro: Rte. 5 on Putney Rd Off I91 Ramunto’s Pizza.

Chester: Downtown on the Village Green.

Essex Town: Rte. 15 in front of McDonald’s (near VT. 279).

Middlebury: On The Green Downtown (across from Middlebury Inn).

Morrisville: Rte. 15 Traffic Circle next to Citco gas station.

Newport Rte. 5 Derby Road at Walmart entrance.

South Burlington: On Rte. 2 across from Dorset Street.

Springfield: Rte.106 and Chester Road at ‘lit green space in front of McDonald’s.

St. Albans: Main Street Park at Lake Street.

The Burlington area anti-Trump, anti-Tesla protestors have been mostly respectful and well-behaved, but as for the general public driving by a pro-Trump rally…I would suggest not wearing any attire that I really cared about and bear spray would be a wise accessory for defense against those with extreme cases of TSD who will be triggered and relive their difficult and agitated days of last November.

    • Good advice. However a large can of Raid or Black Flag Wasp Repellent works just as well. Bear spray is so powerful it could potentially stop them from breathing. Not that I’D shed any tears….
