  1. Bristling, eh? Losing their entitlement to public funding for private profits? Need a binkie?

How ’bout this: we’ll provide the money, and you reimburse us with enough of the windfall from Pharma’s purchase of your output to make us whole and add some profit for the INVESTMENT of public dollars, as well as a significant cut of the royalties from the patents? And this goes for university research funding as well.

Why, I wonder, does none of the “coverage” of the dymnamic of public funding of pharma science go over this basic dynamic of public risk for private gain? Yes, we get “access to new treatments,” but at what cost, and paid for by whom? Et tu, Bernie?

  2. Contact Anthony Fauci for advice on how to get your grant money funding. Has anyone seen Fauci lately??????////
