Transgender activists entered Room 11 at the Vermont State House this afternoon and disrupted a scheduled educational event hosted by the Vermont Family Alliance to educate Vermonters about the growing detransition phenomenon.
In the video above, event organizer Renee McGuinness can be seen trying, unsuccessfully, to speak over the cacophony.
Biological males wearing women’s clothing sang and danced from the moment the 1 PM event started, and continue to do so until everyone was told to leave after 1:30 PM.
Rather than ask the trans activists to leave, Sgt. at Arms Agatha Kessler informed the crowd. When asked why she didn’t first ask the disrupters to leave, she told VDC that it’s a public room and both groups have the right to be there.
State House Police confirmed they had not been asked to direct the trans activists to leave.
After the doors shut, many of the Detransitioners moved to the State House cafeteria.
This is a developing story. VDC Social Media Director Paul Bean will shortly post an interview with McGuinness in which she explains what the disrupters prevented her from saying.

In case those leftist freaks didn’t get the memo from last November’s election, the overwhelming majority of the country voted for a return to normalcy and traditional values. Shouting down one’s opposition doesn’t enamor people to your cause either…it just shown that you have no cause and no valid arguments that can be debated with logic and science. When they dance and strut, they should be sure to keep their arms spread out…it will make it harder to throw the net over them, but they have nothing to fear from Vermont’s useless Sgt at Arms.

Shouting down and other forms of suppression have no place in a building dedicated to free speech and the comparative discussion of ideas. The Sergeant at Arms is wrong in endorsing mob rule, and I hope she rethinks her position.

I was present when protesters were removed from the building by Capital Police, VSP, and Deputy Sheriffs. That was entertaining !

It looks like the bully trans activists with the help of the Sgt of Arms, Agatha Kessler, were successful in preventing Vt Family Alliance their right to free speech. These trans activists do not look like they are oppressed or in any danger of suicide. The public is told we must be sensitive to the trans feelings. All this trans stuff is relatively new and I want to learn both sides of the issue. I know sex is determined at conception and the sex blue print is in every cell of your body. You cant change that. Hopefully Vermont Family Alliance will be given the opportunity to present their information at the State Capital in the very near future.
The group was there when we arrived. Agatha granted them use of the room for 15 minutes on the spot, and.told us it was up to us to co-exist in the room. Agatha asked me to forfeit our event. I said I’m speaking. When I would not cancel our event, Agatha said she’s shutting it down in five minutes. More to follow . . .
Sgt. at Arms Agatha Kessler, need to be removed from this position, yes people have the right to be at this meeting, and state there objection, but when they started disrupting and refusing to sit down, and that man wearing womens cloth and dancing around ” that’s special ” that goes to show that these fruit cakes should have been removed.

I believe that position is an elective one chosen by the legislature. And there in lies the rub .
Let’s just look at this hypothetically.. What if this event were a “pro trans” event of some kind and some “anti trans” activists crashed it ..doing exactly what these trans activists did. Hmmm..Wonder if it would have turned out differently. Oh wait.. Vermont’s state house? They’d be in jail!!
In the real world, someone could have credibly accused the disruptors of being provocateurs from the right, attempting to make the trans advocates look bad. That is in fact what they do, but in Montpelier, we know it’s just the usual cavalcade of wierdos doing shameless bread and puppet style theatrics.
The behavior of the disrupters merely illustrates the nonsense of their cause and may have a greater impact on the views of any fair-minded observer than anything those scheduled to speak might have said. Nevertheless, a sad day for free speech at the Vermont Statehouse. There better be a do-over with proper security. And a public apology.

I was one of the attendees. When I asked Kessler why she would not remove these people she told me, “ this is a public room anyone can be here, they have not broken any laws and they have a right to free speech “.
In the video we hear her making excuses for the lack of order. She said she was trying to “keep order on limited resources,… its me, one person, trying to maintain order”
Funny when we left the room there were police officers standing right out side the door. She lied! It wasn’t her alone trying to maintain order. There were officers who could have easily stepped in.
My husband says this sergeant at arms was definitely a DEI pick.
Shame on Agatha Kessler! She was clearly derelict of duties and she must resign or be removed – Now! Failure to keep the peace in our house. Allowing such a spectacle to take place in our house is reprehensible and should never be tolerated or allowed ever again! All she did was embolden a group of belligerent malcontents to do the same thing again and get away with it. An embarrassment and a stain on the Sgt. at Arms office and the State House.
