According to the Kiev-based weekly, some militant groups based in Syria’s Idlib province, which is not under government control, were provided “operational training” by the Khimik Group, reportedly an HUR Special Forces unit. The Ukrainians reportedly focused on educating the terrorists on tactics developed during the ongoing conflict with Russia, including the use of drones, the Kyiv Post said, citing “Islamist social media sites.”

Patel and Chronister join Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi in filling out Trump’s law enforcement picks.

Manuel Tamayo-Torres was taken into custody in San Diego Monday after threatening Trump, 78, in a video as recently as Thursday, ABC News reported. Charging documents, which refer to Trump as “Individual 1,” described the threats as “vague yet direct,” and accused Tamayo-Torres of posting “numerous” videos “on a near-daily basis” over several months.

Suspected terrorist arrested for trying to cross U.S. northern border | 29 Nov 2024 | Federal authorities believe a Jordanian migrant caught trying to enter the U.S. through its northern border is a terrorist, according to ICE Enforcement Removal Operations in Seattle. Mohammed Hasan Abdellatif Albana, 41, was captured near the northern border of Lynden, Washington, the agency said in a Wednesday press release. It is unclear when or where he snuck into the country. A U.S. immigration official identified Albana as a “known or suspected terrorist,” the agency said. Albana was sent back to Jordan on November 15 after immigration proceedings, per the agency.
