$32K in property stolen from marijuana shop

A Westminster man has been charged with grand larceny after Vermont State Police say he stole more than $30,000 worth of property from a cannabis business in Rockingham earlier this month.

According to a Vermont State Police news release, troopers from the Westminster Barracks were notified of a theft at about 7:44 p.m. on Dec. 8 at Green Mountain Craft Cannabis, located at 30 Industrial Drive in Rockingham.

Following an investigation, police determined that Adam Fischer, 45, of Westminster, allegedly stole property valued at $32,000 from the business. Police fid not describe what was stolen.

Fischer was arrested on Dec. 21 and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing. He was later released on a citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Jan. 20 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of grand larceny.

No bail was required. A mugshot was included with the police release.
