

Vermont State Police say a 21-year-old man reported missing Tuesday morning was found dead after his vehicle crashed off the roadway in Pittsford.
Police received a report on the morning of Feb. 3, that Benjamin Adams had been reported missing. During efforts to locate Adams, a member of the public discovered a single-vehicle crash at about 11 a.m. near the intersection of Vermont Route 3 and U.S. Route 7.
Adams was found unresponsive inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers determined Adams had been traveling north on Route 3 in a Toyota 4Runner when the vehicle left the roadway for reasons still under investigation.
State police said the crash remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
