Vermont State Police say an 18-year-old Barre resident has been cited in connection with a sexual assault reported earlier this year in Barre Town.

According to state police, the Bureau of Criminal Investigations at the Berlin Barracks opened an inquiry on May 21, after receiving a report of a sexual assault in a parking area on Websterville Road. Investigators determined that Evan Cross, 18, allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile female known to him inside a vehicle at that location.
Police said Cross surrendered at the Berlin Barracks at about 12:40 PM on November 20. He was fingerprinted, photographed, and issued a citation to appear in Washington Superior Court, Criminal Division, on December 4 to answer to a charge of sexual assault. He was released following processing.
State police noted that no further details about the victim will be released due to her age and the nature of the allegation.

And it will follow him for the rest of his life.
Nah. He’ll cop a plea, the court will ask him to be a kinder person in the future, he’ll be on probation for three years, and if he behaves, the record of his conviction will disappear.
And our liberal friends will call it justice.
Who knows what happened, nothing is stated in this news article, one way or another. Norm was accused, nearly cost him his life, front page news, chastised, maligned and later found innocent.
So, for those young men who don’t know, God has a much better plan for you. Proverbs talks about women, frequently. Jesus talks about the 10 commandments, and how none of us are innocent of any of them.
Men think they are getting away with something by having sex outside of marriage, it’s quite the opposite.
Who know what happened, time will tell, he was not using sound judgement, which is tough at such a young age.
Sound judgement is tough for many at any age.
But since we’ve decided as a society that 18 year olds can vote and serve our country then I feel this young man should be held fully accountable if it turns out he couldn’t keep it in his pants.
